Remember when we got those neat little carto removal tools with the Sabots? I had two, now I have zero. Where would one buy something similar? I've found a few on the 'net, but nothing quite like those ones with the Sabot. Atmistique has the Battler, which is what I'd like, but I'm not too keen on spending the shipping charge on something so cheap. I could buy something else from them, but I'd really just like the tool...

Too involved for me. I just hook em together push and done. I made this thing 4 yrs. ago for my tanks. Before I ever heard of a Billet Box.

That's my point. Whenever you think you've got it bad, someone else honestly does have it worse. Some folks will talk about it, I know others (here on ECF) that don't want to talk about it.

Someone on another forum I am on started a "This really irks me" thread - whining bout this or that - some of us have more we can whine about than others - most don't really want to know... Hey, how're you doin? Just fine, and you? Done...

I have a lot of issues but for me I keep most of them to myself. My eye that they have done multiple ops on and someday they will finish I hope. They been working on it for 5 yrs. Also sleep. I'm lucky if I get 4 hr. every night. Last night I got 2. The rest I just don't talk about.

As far as people saying your whinning tell them they don't have to read it if it bothers them that much. I like hearing how the people I interact with are doing. My

Just get a metal Driptip big enough so there's enough material to cut down and shape the other end. A drill and file work good for shaping the other end. A thick delrin tip would probably work too.

I'm not sure I get how you are using that, wouldn't the atties need to go head to head, making the second atty backwards? to me it would seem that you have to load one atty, push it through, then change the bottom one and push it back up again?

Not on the tanks I made it for. On the Billet Box I just take an old carto I saved for the purpose, Push the old carto out of the BBox, put the new carto on and push it back through. The whole process takes less than a minute.

Ack! I have 6 of the AW RCR123a batteries that were bought with my first Billet Box ages ago. Only 2 are still viable, the other 4 refuse to hold a charge. Damn you, Entropy! Thankfully, Lighthound has them in stock. While I wait for the new batteries to be delivered, could I possibly rig some sort of charging system to keep my BB going? I suspect it would involve some wires, lightning, chanting, and burning of various herbs...

I actually posted that JUST for you, and because of that "conversation" we had a while back. I knew you'd get a kick out of it.

Well, at least I don't have to worry about selling the dang thing now. The BVC stuff took it out of play for me some time ago. In fact, if I recall correctly, it's all your fault.

You were the first one I thought of when I saw those. And when you didn't comment much I knew you weren't going to be getting any of them. I like the regular BB tanks. Clear or Delrin, they work well for me. In fact I have our two clears soaking in alcohol right now because I think they were getting gunky inside in the spring area.

Figgured that out, did ya? Yeah, I prefer my fingers ON my hand...

I've loved the delrin tanks since they moment they arrived. And I've yet to discover a single reason to feel differently. They're perfect for me and I hope he never stops making them.
