ok, still going to do a little update later today but need to get this out. Today was supposed to be my last day of busting .... and I was going to have all the pre orders knocked out. When the pre orders were going I was keeping my eye on the inventory control to make sure we didn't top 200 units, and when we got there i pulled the plug. I never actualy counted each order, i assumed that computers were ok at that sort of thing and that we indeed had 200, i kinda assumed that we really had a bit less as a few folks asked if they could be refunded and they were. Now at the back side of the list and comparing orders to dates, i saw something not adding up and just manually counted what was left. We oversold by 26... Ok, after I figured that out yesterday, i needed to wrap my head around it and figure what need to get done before i reported to you guys waiting on me. Most of the rest of the Pre orders will go out tomorrow, but that only gets me up to Dec 27th... The remaining 26 preorders, i simply just need a bit more time because i never accounted for them.... Not a big amount of time because we are getting this down pretty good, but if you got your order in after the 27th (your lucky we screwed up) please give us till the end of the week to get your tracking number.... Dev is cutting out the rest of what we need to put together the overflow as i type. This super sucks on all fronts, but i'm not going to spend much time thinking about it, just gonna get it done so i can have a proper nap (coma) after these monsters are all shipped. will update our site about this when i get a sec, just wanted to post it myself first.

Maybe someone can answer this...
Specs say that the i4 can accommodate 26650's, but I can't visualize how that is possible, given the segregation between slots. Does an i4 in fact fit a 26650?

I've used the i4 charger for my Sanyo eneloops to the 26650 for my Bombshell stinger. I liked it so much i have 3 ;)

Excellent - thank you for the 1st-hand info!
That's my issue - I have a Bombshell Stinger, ProVari, and Atmizoo Roller... would like 1 device that can charge the whole kit and kaboodle (from 18350 - 18650 + 26650). This sounds like it will be perfect!

I ordered mine on the third of January.

All I ask of you DD, is that you don't rush getting the last 26 BBs out the door. I would rather wait a little extra time and know that your always meticulous care is going into mine.

Thanks so much, Karen from Oregon.

What she said...I am not in a big hurry...take your time...

DD thank you for the update, and rest easy my man. I am not the least bit worried, and I have no problem waiting.

Quality over quantity as far as I am concerned

You have my full trust and thanks for doing a fantastic job, not only for producing a work of art but also for maintaining absolutely excellent communication. That alone is worth it's weight in gold brother.

According to the last classy ad, $200 for the BB alone, as I recall. A bit of a markup but not really extreme. There was word of one selling for twice that earlier, but that's just redonkulous.

i was only a minute or so from grabbing it supposedly, that literally ruined my day. no BB for me...again... :(

short boring update!!!

First off, said i would try a few matte finishes on some spare boxes for Brutus to think about doin' to his to hide fingerprints.
only two things seemed likely to be successful to try and that was scotchbrite or sandpaper (steel wool would work too, but its would be no better than scotchbrite and would be much messier)

first off the scotchbrite

now some 320 aluminum oxide sandpaper

k, well both don't look too bad imho,,, they were both sanded in straight lines to kinda emulate a brushed finish instead of swirly and erratic. The scratche pattern in the sandpapered one are much much deeper, and would be harder to get back to a mirror finish if desired, but the real test here is fingerprint resistance, so lets try that.....

k, no fingerprints, sandpaper on the left, scotchbrite on the right.

anyway you look at it, sandpaper wins...... by alot..

ok, on to shop updates, hired two shiny new worker monsters, one I call "night shift" and the other i haven't got a good name for yet.... (because "day shift" just doesn't sound that cool)... bout 4 weeks left till the new cnc machine shows up, that's going to be a huge help. The new machine will move around 12.5 times faster than Dev and spin bits about 4,000 rpms faster, uhh i feel bad stating how much better she will be than Dev (really, i just turned my laptop screen away from her in case shes looking and decides to break just to teach me a lesson) Sanding and polishing monkey found his BB this week too, turns out he dropped it in the car of some guy who gave him a ride home, then they happened to meet again in the bar over a week (or 2) later and the guy gave it back... (and was bought many drinks in gratitude) so that was kinda magic...

k, i'm back at it. sorry so short.. will spend much more time in here when these are all shipped.
