I only use this punch.
Aluminium Cartomizer Punch V4

It is more expensive than others but it has a cobalt tip. I have been giving mine heavy use (like sometimes punching up to 15 cartos a week) for over a year and my tip is still as sharp as it was the day I got it with no distortion of the carto.

+1 on this punch..totally worth the money with the carbon tip and big window so you can see exactly where you're punching. This is all I use as well.

I have a shipping update!

As of the 25/03/13, my BB had made its way to LOS ANGELES, CA 90009. Woo! I guess by now it may even have left the USA to journey over to jolly old England... Who knows?

It cant come soon enough. I have snapped 3 ego twists in the past couple of months. This morning I dropped my mod from just above knee height, it fell full onto the unique tank ( sort of like a Lavatank, but made in the UK ) and the top section / mothpiece sheared off leaving the O ring section in the tank....

On the plus side, I didnt spill a drop of e liquid onto the carpet... And, it still works if you dont mind putting the entire tank tube in your mouth. Its a little bit like honking on a huge cigar I suppose.

Bad times, hopefully to be followed by some good ones.

That carto punch is where its at. I tried a few others before buying this one, and this is by far the best. Sharp tip that stays sharp, easy to punch holes at the same height every time, and it minimally distorts the cartos. I think it is a very worthwhile purchase for any regular carto tank user.

Uhm sorry, he wasn't blown away with the vape unfortunately, quite the opposite.
Now if we could have a BB we could put a Killer in, then we would be talking... :)

It's silly for him to be "so gutted" about this. He doesn't like carto tanks. This uses a carto tank. He should have expected that this would vape like a carto tank. "This is a wee bit carto tank. You can put this on any variable voltage and it will vape the same as the BB." Well, duh. The appeal of the BB isn't that it will magically vape differently than other carto tanks. The appeal is the design, engineering, internal tank, ease of filling, etc. "So gutted." Give me a break.

It's real simple, if you don't like carto tanks, until DD comes out with a RBA or a pass through 510 connection this is not your mod. For those of us who like tanks and box mods it's simply the best.

It's my only box mod! I never even considered one before this. All my other tanks were just on tubes. But, since all I take out of the house are cartos and tanks, I have no issues using them. Every time I have to sit and re-wrap a coil or roll a wick, I'm using the billet box, since it just never has to be messed with.

You can't ding it for being a carto tank system. It is what it is, but it does the job so damn well. venkman is spot on, it's the design that takes it to a new level.

My opinion, you have yours, maybe you missed the rest of the video where I do nothing but praise the device!

    Can't please everyone I suppose!

As I said, as soon as there an update to allow a killer to fit or similar, I would be right at the front of the line to buy one as design wise it's perhaps the most stunning bit of vaping gear I've come across.

If that's ok with you ;)

I totally agree. I also love Todds reviews. Very candid and no editing. He can ramble a bit but that's part of the charm I feel. I myself am a total RBA guy, and this is my only carto mod that I use. I have plenty of carto tanks (Lava, Bella, DCTs) but once I found RBAs they all became dust collectors. With that being said, the BB is awesome and I can understand what Todd is saying. But the whole charm and enjoyability IMO of the BB comes from the convenient package it is in. It is nearly indestructible, allows you to adjust your vape(VV) and DOES NOT LEAK. These are for the most part things that RBAs don't all have. Some get one or two of those attributes, yet only one RBA device I have found has all three(the S-Dog) and even then it can be temperamental and leaks on occasion. I for one have feel in love with the BB and look forward to one day owning a second.

I've been a carto tank guy for over a year. I love them! I have plenty of the RBA's but they just are to inconsistent for me. They are also impractical out and about mod for me as they don't like to be set on their side.

The Billet Box is a dream come true. This is the perfect work mod for me. I just feel so bad letting something so nice get scratched and dinged up at work. The Billet Box is tough as nails. I've busted more carto tanks off the top of mods over the past year then I could ever count. This is now a thing of the past. My poor BB has taken quite a few falls in the past week and 5 min with some Mother's polish and it looks almost as good as new. Now the only backups I need to bring to work with me are batteries and extra drip tips (Yes I've busted 2 drip tips off the top in the past week). Once I get some extra tanks I should be set for life with this thing. The Billet Box has become my only out and about mod.

Someone just needs to come out with a rubber cover to protect the Billet Box like they make for cell phones so it can have more grip and stay nice looking longer.
