First time punching a carto process:
Line up the 6mm thick punch flush with the bottom of the carto and mark the top
Slide bottom of the punch to the marking (adding 3mm)
Punch 2 holes!

I have a similar one from COV, it's got this little additional "lip" on the top. So far it survived punching 33 cartos, hope it holds up lol.

The Diver should fit...the Killer will not. I ordered my Diver the first day of sales, hoping it arrives this week. When it does I will let ya'll know if it will work in the BB tank.

I have that tip too, and I agree!
I've used both of those punches. You may need to sharpen the point after a while, but they work just fine. The Siam mods one lasts a little longer (before needing to be sharpened), and if you line up the lip with the base of the carto (not the threads), the height of the punch is perfect for most carto tanks, including the BB.

The one you have is the siam mods one, at least that's the one I see at COV. I was comparing it to the one Loto used.
