does anyone know what hole size, or if more than 2 holes are good for 70vg /30 distilled liquid?

i punched 2 so far and testing it out.

If you have control over the size of the hole, a good first try would be somewhere between 1mm and 2mm. Once it's in the tank, check to see if you're getting flow into the cartomizer by pushing on the face of the BB tank (for a freshly installed carto) and/or taking a hard draw on the carto and looking in the tank immediately after - in either case you're looking for bubbles from the holes.

If you have good bubbles, chances are good that the hole(s) are big enough. If you find the carto goes dry from time to time, add another hole next time. Don't want to go overboard to the point of flooding the carto, though.

If you don't get bubbles, or have to draw really hard to get them, the hole isn't big enough -- and adding more probably won't help. Try making slightly bigger holes, or if your punch can't make bigger holes try thinning the liquid with a bit of distilled water - maybe 5% of total volume to start, just enough to thin it without affecting flavor too much.

Hope this helps!

Lol possibly, might make one :p

Right now I'm dealing with my first carto from Ikenvape which is tasting burnt as hell. I primed it properly too, needle filled :/

Switching to a Boge now lol

This is my first time using a carto tank, also. It's not bad and I think I'll get used to it pretty quickly. Never liked that slight 'wooly' taste, though.

Any tips on less-messy ways of draining the tank?

when i decided i didnt like the juice i used, i pulled the carto down from the bottom, and then put a needle tip in the top tank hole and sucked out the juice.

Had that problem with my first couple of IKV punched, too, with anything more than 20% VG. Holes too small for most of my liquids.

So, had to slot 'em anyway. After that, though? Have to say, I favor them just a touch more than the Boges.

My first iken was burning for a bit, think it's worth slotting and trying anyway or toss it?

I just popped in a Boge I punched. Definitely working better with 75/25.

I know that it is recommended after you prime the carto to press slightly on the face of the tank to get it going. Makes sense to pressurize it a bit. Has anyone tried this and can give us some insight?
