Hello all, I've been creeping this thread for a long while now, figured I'd say hello!
I'm blown away by Doug Dino, both in his quality craftsmanship and his amazing support to the community. So first off, cheers to you!
I actually made an account here just to be able to post in this thread, haha. I missed out on the limited release last friday but was persistent and very fortunate to get in on this pre-sale. 6 weeks can't come fast enough!
Anyways, I can't wait to get more involved with you guys!

many thanks!I'm sure that we'd hit satiety eventually - but you need to see how people go crazy over this mod when it's posted on other forums - there are lots of people who've never heard of it suddenly finding out about and loving it at first sight.. The popularity of this mod is only going to increase drastically in the foreseeable future as far as I can see.. -I really do think it's that good... And now we have things like the diver atomiser and eventually the Achilles and maybe more from other modders - which will work in it - it's becoming really appealing to all the users who dislike Carto's now- there's going to be no reasons not to have one in time
Yeah I know email systems aren't perfect - but maybe the easiest option is to navigate away from the flash based website or have a small area of it that is able to be monitored by the plug ins available for browsers than pop there and analyse page differences.. At present the website the way it's set up - can't be tracked by these plug ins - there are a few available that basically look for differences between now and the last time they went there - if there is any - a pop up appears on the screen to let the user know and they can then pop there in the browser and see what the differences are - simple things like text going from out of stock to in stock for example..
BB could implement a little track-able notifications section on the website that allows these plug-ins to work and then let people know which plug-in to install to keep track of the page - then at least anyone using it will have ample warning of any future sales

Anyways, just FYI I had read from a BilletBox owner that he had bought a clear wrap from J-Wraps and put it around the aluminum border for the BilletBox. I thought that was a great idea and I will most likely be doing the same when I receive mine to protect and preserve the beauty. Not quite sure if J-Wraps has an official wrap for the BB yet but maybe they will be willing to make a tailored-fit clear wrap to perfectly cover the corners and edges without any creases and such thst could happen when you try to bend and cover slants and corners

Mr. Jwraps is in the process of doing B Box wraps. He is just about to borrow one from someone (ahem.. cough... possibly me) to get the dimensions precise, so it'll be comin'. I'm thinking that the silver cf or possibly the silver hologram could work quite well.

You could always take it to one of those cell phone places that do the clear wraps. I've seen IPhones and BlackBerrys wrapped that way with no creases and looked great.
So I've got a really good carto with a flavor that I'm getting sick of.

If mine gets scratched it gets scratched...no biggie, it is a working tool. My Coyote rifle has a chunk of wood on it I will never duplicate but it still get dragged through the brush and has accounted for close to 2500 nuisance coyotes over the years. It has a few scratches and dings on it...adds character...
