Another new BB owner here as well, been stalking this mod for the past month with no luck, and tireless searches on the classies. To make sure I got 1 today I closed the office from 4-430pm eastern time and made sure I was gonna try my hardest to get one. My staff thought I was crazy but they enjoyed the 30min break

So, I had asked if anyone put any holes in the cartos near the top and had a couple of folks respond with one doing it with success. So today I took one of my cartos with two holes and put another one a little above the middle of the carto closer to the top. Works great. I would say a little better than two or three holes at the bottom. Not sure what, maybe airflow or helps withit he pressure? Anyway wanted to share.

Yeah, after you asked, I tried it with the next carto I threw in there. Seems to be working well. I have a cold and I'm using a new flavor I mixed up, so it's hard to do an objective comparison yet.

Anyone tried the kanger horizontal coil carto? Seems a little more than I want to pay for a 5 pack but still curious

Haven't tried them in a BB but I have used them in the past. They are good but not as good as Ikenvape cartos

Have not tried those with a BB yet, but I do recall trying them a while back. Maybe it was just that batch, but in the ones I received the fill material didn't go all the way to the bottom, by several mm. Didn't perform very well in or out of a tank. Could be that isn't a common thing, maybe the current ones have better QC ... but I haven't bothered with them again since.

Yup! a "REAL DOCTOR" lol former PAck a day smoker and vaping is saving my life. I recommend e cigs mostly EGO or manual button cig look a likes to start. Of course I tell them that there needs to be more studies on the long term effects but the goal is to get off cigs and then start weaning their nicotine levels. I started at 18mg and now I'm down to 6mg. Would encourage everyone to wean down and enjoy vaping without the detrimental effects of nicotine. The BB willbe great as I frequently bring my provari to work And need sto be hidden behind my desktop

So just curious what makes the ikenvape cartos so good. I have read several folks say they were great cartos. They are out of stock right now though . They also seem to be a bit more pricey than boges. I don't mind laying extra if they are really that good. Right now iam just experimenting with holes and placement and figured why not throw in a couple different cartos as well. Since now I am no longer looking for the APV that is "the one" . I can look at other things.....like cartos....LOL

Don't know why the Ikenvapes are so good...I just know I like them best. When they are in stock I tend to stock up with 8-10 boxes.

I had tried kangers and they were too short for them to work in my BB. They are from about a year ago so I don't know if they ha e changed since then.

k guys, here's the game plan. I am going full time with new machine set up, i have done some test cuts and code with her to get an idea how hard i can run her and wow, she is flat incredible. I have alot to do here with tooling, fixture making and coding but I have no doubt, she is going to preform magnificently. Dev is officially off metal cutting and going full time plastics. Starting tomorrow all my guys and Dev are on full time tank duty until further notice, and I will do what i can to get um' for grabs ASAP. The Billet Birthing show will start up maybe next weekend, but maybe the one after.... i have no choice but to drop off the radar at times when i am absorbed in something ( i have a new sleeping box btw, now with more packing bubbles) but as i get more new and exciting things to show, I will update steadily every weekend with pics and stuff to share with you guys.
Just a big thanks to all of you here. Thank you for the welcoming, the excitement, the support, exchange of ideas, sharing pics, awesome tinkering and modding, the unhealthy knife obsessions, the entertainment, everything.
This is a damn fine place to be a part of, really am glad i got you guys!

I am hoping they make them in standard size eventually because IMO they produce the best flavor out of any carto I have ever used. That being said does anyone know of a way to get an XL carto to work in a BB without chopping it down?

Slice your BB in two above the tank, weld in a 10mm spacer, rewire and you should be good to go...lol...

You take great care of your customers and any of them that are complaining at this point, probably aren't customers you could make happy anyway. They obviously do not understand the amount of time involved with the production of a Billet Box. Keep up the good work. I look forward to getting a 2nd one after many of the first timers have had a chance. Thank you, you are on the short list of people that I owe a longer life too.

Get the standard length, I prefer the 2.0 ohm Golds... IKV Gold 510 Cartomizer LR 2.0Ω

The platinum are very good as well...the Diamonds have a impossible to remove wrap on them...no good for tank use.

Well now THAT'S SUPER COOL!!! Our very own BBville Doc! CONGRATS on snagging a BB today! As you've read here from EVERYBODY ... You will LOVE it! It's truly beautiful ... To sit ON your desk ... So you won't have to hide behind it anymore! LOL! And YES Doc ... I have just lowered my nic to 6 mg too! We'll be calling on you to help out during the next round of BB Shipping Confirmation emails!
