It's actually pressed into what appears to be Delrin - and I've observed that without NR tails on the coil the tails WILL melt the Delrin - which is ANOTHER concern of mine - hence why I'm using NR tails on it from here-on-in

Yes the air pipe only contacts the juice at the top at the bottom of the ceramic cup but nevertheless it is still in contact with juice and you are inhaling air sucked through it when it gets hot.

Gotcha. What's the issue with brass and juice? Is it due to overheating juice? I'm not sure I understand.

the only thing that concerns me about the diver and I have two here - and one in a tank and set-up properly it vapes like a champ if a tad gurgly when left for a while - but I digress - the one thing that concerns me at the moment is that the air tube positive pin part is made of what looks like Brass - this gets hot (due to electricity) and is in constant contact with the juice and I'm concerned that this poses a health concern - as generally exposed brass is considered a no-no in vaping....

I need to check up on this a bit more....

I'm so lazy I didn't check but the premades that came with it is it nr/r/nr? Also for the brass issue I think the killer pin is the same size I might use that instead.

So, wonder if anyone can offer some help.

Long story short, I was hit by a car on Friday. Nothing serious, but I had my Billet Box in hand when it happened, and it went flying. It landed, and is still in one piece...however the sliding door seems to be fused. I cannot get it open for the life of me, and no one else can either.

Any quick fixes?

And yes, I am fine, thanks for asking....lol.
Wow Born, I'm glad you're OK!!

Whew, glad to hear I'm not the only one who had a bitsy bit of a prob removing the carto. Lesson learned.
I've had one so far that I had to rip apart to get it out. I decided it's not good to leave the same carto in there for too long, so I might be switching them out a bit early, but haven't had any get stuck lately.

I'm gonna be truthful and state that I'm not 100% sure - I DO know that copper is a big No-No when it comes to atomisers - such as the big problems with the commercial Chinese atty's that have chrome plated copper and brass and there has been a big fuss made about them when the chrome wears off.

So I'm fairly confident that Brass serving purely as a electrical conductor in a mod/atty is totally fine BUT when it serves the double purpose of the air inlet that we inhale thru and is also in contact with the juice - albeit only a small amount then we don't want to be breathing in brass particles really..:?:

You know the Killer could possibly fit into a BB tank - BUT you would have to dismantle the tank every time to do it - not really practical :(

I don't think it can be done because it is so tall with the juice control open that you wouldn't be able to screw down the brass top that I believe completes the circuit. Someone smarter than me can probably confirm this though.

Sounds like the diver is the way to go at the moment. The killer would awsome. I've got to find something though, as I'm just not into cartos.

I see ya got it done.....be interesting to see whether it will be girgle'y or flood before ya empty the first tank....lets us know how it fares...

The Raven is in...cut very easily down to size, left the flange on it, dropped right in. Tighted down the drip tip and it vapes like a champ.

Some other questions:

How's the vape compared to a carto?
Any wicking issues?
How long do you expect one to last?
Leaking problems?
Gurgling?
Think there's a possibility of ripping these apart and putting in your own coil?

better than a carto, more vapor and flavor
no dry hits yet (into second tank on the ProVari)
no idea
doesn't seem to be
nope
I don't think so, not worth it to me to try
