Well, I think she's pretty much a goner. Only fires randomly now - time for a call to the big house. I've really had some crap luck with mods and it's certainly not for lack of care. First device I bought was a sigelei Zmax when I quit smoking in January. Month and a half later the 510 connector popped out of it but thankfully the vendor Smoktek was very gracious and replaced the whole kit with a newer version. Bought a Reo Grand and it went from working great to working only barely so-so a week later. Sent it back (had to pay shipping both ways) and was told it was fine. Wound up paying an additional $40 for a repair kit and NOW it works fine (bad 510 connector pin!). Bought a KICK, died around the same time the Reo did - Evolv replaced it. <sigh> On a bright note I'm still inside my 30 day warranty on the BB so I'm sure Doug will take care it.

Just so sorry I have to give it up for the repair time as it's really been outstanding during the time that I've had it. It's like a lighter, put it in my pocket and go. I know I have enough juice and battery for an all day whatever and I just don't have to think about it. Looks great, super pocket-able and totally hassle free. I have to go out of town tomorrow and now I'm just not looking forward to it knowing I won't have my BB. Going to have to pack a freaking backpack with crap to make it thru the weekend now.

Man, glad your still under warranty. I just now noticed the 30 day warranty. Guess I will be handling the BB with extreme caution. Was hoping this would be my away from home vape, but only 30 days isn't to reassuring. Oh well still looking forward to getting mine.

Nice day out there today. Took my little buddy out fishing with me. The BB loves rocks.

What is reassuring is how few people have reported problems with the BB. That is precisely why I stupidly waited when ordering first became possible in December. I wanted to wait for the reviews to avoid any disappointment. After the reviews started pouring in, my only disappointment was that I had played it too cautiously months ago. This is definitely my away from home vape. The first couple of days I took my provari with me just in case, but since then my provari has been rather neglected. I did fill up a tank with some new juice yesterday and used the provari to vape it since I only have one tank for my BB. Thankfully, I have a wonderful all day vape so most of the time my BB with its one tank is all I need to get me through an entire day.

Just stopped by to say hey.. Also I love that I only have to carry 2 thing now with me since giving my genny's a rest.
I consider both my security! :p
Still not as good as Ab at staging!

Man, guns freak me out. I suppose its a cultural thing. Knives on the other hand are all good!

Hmm, so I got my bullet punch last night. Holes are kinda small, so I punched 3 of them. It seems like it's vaping fine but no bubbles from carto.

Also, it seems like there's some leaking in the back of the tank. When I pull it out, I have to kind of softly "pry" it out with a fingernail and there's juice on the back and sides. What could be the issue?

Verify if it is e-liquid or condensation. If it is e-liquid, then it is probably a leaking o-ring around the carto, or it could be the tank gasket. You can remove the tank while it's full and place it on a napkin to observe it to find the leak.

If the moisture is actually just condensation, then I don't think there is much you can do. Humidity and temperature (ambient as well as the device temp) dictate how much condensation may or may not form on the aluminum. I have had it a few times, and it creates a little vacuum behind the tank which requires prying the tank out with a nail file or small screwdriver. I haven't had any condensation buildup for quite awhile though.

Hmm it looked a little thick to be condensation, but I'll leave a tank on a napkin tonight and see what happens. I really hope it was just condensation though, I don't want to change the rings yet lol.

Whew! Glad to see ya Silent E. I was tired of listening for pins to drop :) So quiet.

Still waiting on that same punch.

Hah I was shooting all day, just got home. I didn't realize how quiet it got in here today, it'd actually surprising.

The punch is good. Holes are small, but there's pretty much no deformity when punching. Probably better for thinner juices though.

It's just condensation. Mine does that sometimes. Wipe the positive contact, or replace the red rubber o-ring around it. That usually fixes it. Also, inhale after you take your finger off the button and that will help stop the condensation.

It's been a while since I was using the Phoenix Raven and since I got a new shipment in I thought I'd fire one up. disappointingly, the wicking was poor and between last night and today I seemed to be suffering from nic starvation. Kept fiddlin' with it until tonight, when 'nough was 'nough, and put in a new one out of the box.

World of difference - wicking is great and just as remembered from my earlier ones. Sadly, guess that means we can expect some bad ones to slip through on occasion. The first one was shipped in the phoenix tank and the second was from a fresh box. May explain some of the inconsistency others have seen in fitting it to the BB.

Doug,
Any more updates on tank availability? Incase i have not said it yet...I am dying for more tanks....LOL. I know I am a PITA, but that is one thing I do well...hehe
I know you guys are doing what you can and mentioned you would be focusing on tanks right now while you fiddle with your new "thingy" since you have not named her yet, thought that might be fitting :D
