For those still looking for a good charger, there's a good deal listed on ........'s site today for the highly rated and recommended 4-bay NITECORE Intellicharger for $19.35 shipped:

Fastech - NITECORE Intellicharger

Use coupon code CPASTE13SPRING (make sure to paste with no extra spaces).

This is an excellent charger that'll take care of just about all your mod battery charging needs. I'm picking another one up myself, retiring the xtar WP6 (or at least relegating it to 18650 and 26650's only) and keeping a TrustFire TR003 as a primary backup.

fastech is overseas but Priority shipping is free and usually only takes a week. I've bought several items from them, no problems at all. Heck, I'd rate them better than a few U.S. sellers I've dealt with. :)

constant state of confusion
My BB just returned from a 4 day field trip with me. Unfortunately I could not vape...and I still can't vape, but I did try.

I present to you, the BSD Lolipop. Tried to explain to the misus this is all in the name of vaping science, but she just keeps laughing!

(Works perfectly BTW)

Re-purposed an old I Pro...is it June yet lol.

BSD, now that is modding extraordinaire!

umm, wow, aaahh,,, kinda, no, maybe...who knows,, i thinks kinda like,,,umm... it's a little like a.. kinda sweet, but not really,,, damn, some people say rice crispy treats... i get almost a maple syrupy type flavor, but it's not that sweet, rich,,, that's a good word, rich... i'll go with rich! I would say there is a little tobacco'y undertones, with maybe vanilla, and maple... it's an all day vape for sure, not a novelty..

C'mon, DD of BB. You already had me at hello, here's your B Box... you trying to make me like you more? :D

Lovely description of my Beloved.

Hope you are well soon all those tubes don't look good. And that would surely suck to be able to hold your BB but note vape. Get well soon.

cinco de Update,

k, here's what been going on. This week was full of receiving and setting up the tools for the new machine and programing her to actually move around and cut things. Her priority is to take over all the aluminum work for Dev, so first she needs the pallets to hold the rough stock, so that was step one....

step one, put in a 1.25" slab of 2024 aluminum for a pallet, and use the machine to flatten the sucker...

and then do it again because i didn't do it right the first time...

now i have (enter new machines name here) cutting out the part that will hold the BB raw stock into place..

done, neat-O

so now i can load material onto that pallet, and the little black thingys are cams with teeth on them that bite and hold the stock inta place with a combined total of.....(doing math).....21,600lbs of force per bar!!! so yah, not going anywhere now.

k, now here i had to stop and write this....

And as of right now, i'm debugging it by actually running the machine and cutting out boxes.. this is the stupid part... there are a lot of little things to work out by dong test runs, tweaking the code, over and over and over and over and over and over and over again......it's necessary work to dial her all in... but on the whole, this machine flat out kicks a$s!

The machine still needs one more part to be 100% functional, and a Haas CNC tech guy should be delivering and installing it later this week. It's a probing device that lets her "feel" what she has on her table and lets me write code so she can do and preform actions with the data she gathers from the probe... that was one of the instruction manuals i read last week, so hopefully i got it covered when it shows.

Lots of other stuff is going on in the shop too, i'v just been to busy to pay attention to it... electronic guts are being soldered and stuff, tanks, battery clips.... ton o stuff. Once I can step away from the new machine for a few min's i'll take some pics of the other type things going on, but for now,, i'm kinda glued to this thing!

if you need anything from me ASAP, call me, support number on the site. I do not get ANY e-mails at all, nor can i answer pms everyday, i simply just don't have the time. I will help you but the phone is how you get my attention if you need something from me asap.

Wow Doug D that machine looks awwwsome. Bet it took alot to fiqure out looks like it would take alot to fiqure out all the teckie stuff. Keep pluggin away but don't rush things. Things never happen right in a rush. Congrats on makin it over 500 pg. of post.

Well hope no one thinks of this as a whine Cause I know that to get something so spectacular takes time when not already made when ordered. Been bideing my time starting from bigining of all these posts and rereading them. Getting more tips all the time. And finally found the size someone posted on here. Wow oh Wow I made 2 pieces of paper that size and stuck 4 carto condoms in the edges so should be pretty close to the actual size. Did ya know a walmart reciept is bigger then that. LOL Cant believe it is that size, cause it looks so much bigger in the pics and the few vids I could find on it. My family and friend just look at me all funny eyed when I show them my little paper box and explain to them how wonderful the BB is gonna be. Huuummmm 2 of them I think are makin plans for me to see a Doc. (the head kind) :( I do believe, cause of the pitty I see in their eyes, and the quick glaces back and forth amongest themselfs. Oh dear folks and friends here please be sure Mr DD sends my BB to the syko ward for me so they will let me out. We all know once they all see they will believe in the greatness of this magical little box.
Well done with that note, cant wait been marking off the days but not just for BB, but also cause May 30th is the end of school and 3 months off for me. Dang gonna have to fill the time somehow or I'll vape myself into a nic coma.
So have decided to DIY some juice. Am really tired of paying so much for liquids that are not to my liken. Besides what I've spent on just little samples of bottle, could have bought enough stuff to make juice for 4 to 6 months almost. So can anyone suggest a thing to drip my mixed flavors into to taste them so not to waste or have to clean out carto after carto. I have Halo and Volt batterys, and their bigger batteries like the spinner, also have a 510 adaptor for them. I tried cleaning the stuffing out of 2 different cartos and use them for testing but both leaked like sives and lost a battery to that so don't want to go there again.
LOOK LOOK below I've made it to 2 months!!! Yahoo.

Put away the paper box Silverdove!! We don't want them to ship you to the looney bin before you get your BB!! lol After you get it, however, you're on your own :)

Doug, with your enormous amount of spare time (sarcasm font) you need to start review liquids pronto lol

Stupid question here: flanged cartos will be okay to use, right? I mean, I imagine they are with everyone using those Ravens...just wondering if it would be a problem to use a smoktech flanged carto in my bb instead of the Boges...

Should be fine as long as they're standard length.

Anyone try these before?

Smoktech DCT-2 Fillerless CE Styled Cartomizers 2.0ohm

I'd guess they can be easily trimmed down too. Not sure how they compare to the Raven's though.

Edit:

Reviews look decent:
CE2 Tank Cartomizer Review

Edit 2:

Looks like some big QC issues exist...wouldn't buy.

So, I've run 3 tanks of NLV Gold though one these so far and they are working flawlessly and leaking less than my Boge's ever did (maybe 3 drops worth for 3 tanks). I bough them from Hoosier and just put an order in for a bunch more 3 ohm, and 2 ohm dual coils.

I remove the flange by inserting the carto in a drill with all the holes taped up and drilling them against a bench grinder,

I then make a mark on the carto running lengthwise near the end with a sharpie (I don't have any bluing fluid) and scribe exactly where they need to be cut using a caliper.

Then its off to the drill again, insert the threaded end of the carto inside the chuck and then lightly tighten down a pipe cutter on the scribe mark, hold onto the cutter and spin the drill, tightening as necessary until a perfect cut is achieved.

It's important to get a perfectly square cut so that the air pressure inside the carto is less than the outside of the cart when pulling....this prevents siphoning which leads to leaks.

Remove any sharpie and tape residue with alcohol, insert in tank, and vape on

thanks, SE. I'm just being extra cautious until i get some spare tanks. i've had good luck with the boges i have on hand (which is good, because i have a #$&l-load of them!), but every once in a while, i get the dud. i have some smok's laying around somewhere...and i swear i've seen some non-flanged ones before. just can't find them now to save my life.
