Hey Silverdove! Time is drawing near for you to become a proud new BB owner! What are ya using? SR or LR Boge's? SR on a skinny batt is a no go! Need more V's! I use SR Boge's in my BB between 4.5 - 5.25 V. A stick battery needs LR carto! Also I find when I fill Boge's I use the condom filling method 25 drops and then let em sit for a good while so the juice has time to soak in and fully saturate the filler. Hope that helps! ;-)

Silverest of the birds... Scuba Dan is prolly regarded by most as one of THE top modders around these parts. Inventive, YES! Creative and talented. Love the Dan.
Boges or any other cartos do well with a bit of "breaking in". Every topper needs its wicks soaked well, and with cartos, it's often good to start out with lower voltage for that "break in" time. Make sure they are saturated which can mean (ugh) waiting... and waiting. I tend to speed things up by taking a sewing needle and poking the filler all over but GENTLY.
Cartos can be tanked or untanked, and each method has its own quirks. But as for flavor? Should be flavor either way. The stick batts are pretty 'wimpy' for the most part, but you should still be able to get flavor and vapor (to some degree) with them.

So cranked it up to 4.8v Now am getting some vaper still not a lot of flavor maybe my juice is too week. it is about 65/35, maybe let it set upright for a bit the filling seems a lot thicker then the 808 cartos that I was using. Thanks 2423kids, and yes I'm getting very excited cause I know it wont be too much longer. Seems like a long time when ya waiting for something. But that makes it all the more enjoyable when ya do get it. OH and DD we will understand if they are not out by the end of the month. Things happen in life we can't forsee.

Thanks Kat Wow I think I got it now about 6 good pulls and got a bad rush from it dang gonna have to make something a little less niccie for when the BB comes in. Already had cut down to 12 cause was havein trouble sleeping and some other things goin on.

Sure wish it had been around befor my mom pass from complications of invasima and COPD. She was on oxigine for 10 yrs. and would not give up the cigs. Sorry for the late post about filling carto's........and good evening to all BB'ers and NLV'ers.....
Having used carto's a while now (even naked carto's) and liking my things simple I'm just a tank guy lately (no naked carto's in a while now).
My process for setting up my tanks using a 3.0 ohm Boge pre-punched:
1. Insert carto of choice in the tank.
2. Place 1 ml. of juice in a 1 ml. syringe with a 18 guage blunt needle attached.
3. Insert needle between filler and outside housing of the carto.
4. Inject juice until it bubbles to the top of the filler. (carefull not to get juice into center hole)
5. Remove needle and insert in a different location and inject fluid again as in number 4 above.
6. Continue injecting and moving needle as in number 4. and 5. till 1 ml. of juice is used.
7. Fill tank with juice from needle tipped bottle till full.
8. Set the tank upright for 1-2 minutes to allow juice to seep out from center hole (if you let some slide into the center hole while filling the carto)
9. Put tank into/on the device and enjoy. (oh, almost forgot to put the drip tip on).
This works great for me and never a burnt taste or dry hit.

Thanks retird I have some small needles here will try that. But I think the Vamos heat helped it a lot. It just doesn't wanna soak up the juice, not like the 808 cartos that just slurpps it up. Won a tank from Gotvape''s number game. anyway I think it was a tank LOL an AGA or was it an AGR. geeessshhh. Don't know. It should be here today or tomarrow then I'll get to fiddle with punching and all. Now even in a tank we need to prime the carto first, Right? Gotta finish up filling these 5 batterys up. Takin my daughters car in to be worked on and it is gonna be an almost all day deal. No one to pick me up. Think they will let me on their computers gonna miss the forum fun. LOL Have a good day all.

I would too. That style is always in demand. Gotta watch how wide the mouth gets though. I've purchased a few hand mades lately that looked good in pics but in practice are almost uncomfortably wide diameter. Tip mouthpieces that share the diameter of, for example, the iHybrid drip tips are likely perfect for almost anyone.
Well, that's my opinion anyway. We know what that's worth, lol
