The name of this RDA is a bit of a misnomer, you can get a SS version with no worries of lead.
What makes this special?
Easy of build. This is the only rebuild able anything that I have 100% success with. It is actually designed for those of us with shaky hands or all thumbs.
It has four posts and all thru-holes. The center two posts are connected so it actually has an extra post just so its easier to build. This is what good engineering is all about. Some of the RDA/RBA's are so hard to build on you have to ask what the engineer or designer was thinking.
Now the next part is even better, I am sure I am not alone in wrapping kanthal wire around a drill bit a challenge. My attempts always come out looking like crap. Well for less than pennies each you can by premade coils from fastech. They are 2 ohm coils so when you use 2 of them in parallel as the monkey is setup you get a perfect 1 ohm build.
Then you cut strips of cotton pad for the wick, length not too important. Thread that thru the coil. Line up the holes on the Monkey's hat and drip away. I generally vape 17=19 watts. The taste is spectacular but the inhale+exhale and cloud of vape is more like an actual smoking experience than anything I've tried.
The brass monkey is IMHO the best place to start and maybe stop with rebuildables. I can't recommend it enough.
