I've been trolling the classified looking to upgrade from a Lava tube. My observation to date is that the high end of the mod market is ridiculously over priced. This has caused me to go direct and have to say that I got a great deal on a clearance Provari. Paid for the expensive shipping and so far so good.

One thing about the Classifieds though I'm confused as to why there are so many post requesting when pay pal is used "no mention of e-cigs". Is this a real concern or just good old paranoia?

Paypal does not approve of e-cig items, not paranoia, its real.

Its still easier to use PP for many, so we just don't mention e-cig at all.

The ProVari is great, I hope you enjoy!

I can hardly wait. Its like being a kid at Christmas all over again. Last notice "Customs clearance processing complete". Wonder how long it will take to get from there to here.

Unless you get a provari that is discontinued(black chrome) like me I bought one for me and just got another for my pops. Most of them are way overpriced. Funny how I see all these chrome ones pop up that are ~$200. Dont be fooled most are ones that were bought through the blem sale and you can buy one for $140 right from provape.com. Most people say they cant even spot a blemish, but due to Provari's strict quality checks they can spot a tiny spec missing in an etching and will mark as blem, unless of course its something obvious like the missing laser etching, but from what I hear they all perform the same as a new one. People will always try to make a buck.

Classified pricing always confused me, whenever I look half of the things listed I could buy cheaper new. *shrug*

Paypal has banned e-cigarettes, they have a habbit of banning anything that anyone could find objectional for any reason. Ebay does not allow the sale of e-cigarettes either, it's all a bit silly to me. I believe they have suspended accounts that break their TOS in regards to e-cigarettes.

That's exactly what I did was get the $140 special. Bargooooon!!!!!!

One of the rules on UK vapers is you got to post retail price AND asking price in your sale.

That pisses off some,but doesnt prevent impulse buyers to get the stuff.

I like that better and I'd do that on my own posts if I remembered. Here you aren't allowed to comment on price - which makes sense. I guess i shouldn't complain, I LIKE the classifieds .. I want to buy the mini Reo and something else at the moment, if I could justify it. Like most parts of the forum, I wish there were more Canadians involved.

Not really; the etching can be lighter or darker,such things they call blemishes.

I was looking on provape.com too, and can't find any clearance or dent/scratch. Are they listed and removed as they are sold out?

I really enjoy the classifieds (look at them several times a day); kind of like window shopping, is fun to see new things. Just do a bit of research prior to buying.

The discounted provari's were in the clearance section - but looks like they sold out of them. I think they had a bad run so had quite a few - they said that the innards were 100% but there might be a scratch or small blemish. Considering my innate clumsiness, it would have just been a matter of time before I dinged a shiny perfect one(and I would have cried)

Check the site from time to time, they may put some up again.

I ordered a blem myself. Chrome with ext cap & blue LED to compliment my black satin mini. USPS says it will be here tomorrow but I don't expect it till Saturday. They said the same thing when my mini shipped & it came about 4 days later.

Not a single itty bitty mark just slippery, slidey, shinny CHROME @ $140 with the Cdn $ above par.

Damn ... I just got my "item has been shipped notice". Will wait patiently. How long did it take to ship (never sure when it comes from US)
