an 18650 should let you vape for a day at least.

Those look like crimp-together copper fittings, so yes, they come w/ creases.

I actually got better tooling this week, check out how smooth my swaged in atomizer connectors are now:

The caps and couplers came with the ridges. They are the solder together type and in each of the ridges had solder already in them. So on the inside it's a crease pre-filled with solder. The chrome tip is from a laser pointer mod that never came to be. Inside is of the 5V regulators with the control pin from madvapes. At 3.7V it acts like a mosfet instead of a regulator so you can get away with a small (.5a) switch.

Looks cool...Here's my 18650 mod with my XL CE2 tank mods...I can get about 2 days from a battery.



I used an 808/901 connector and a 3a button from MV.

I love the coppers. I have 1 also. I gotta say with those, the button really makes or breaks the look. But yours look great.

It's also acts like a little blood sucking leach, all the time the battery(s) is in and connected whether you are pressing the fire button or not its nibbling away at your battery(s).

But it works for now - almost 2 full days right now on a single charge.

Edit: You are correct. Spec sheet shows a quiescent current of max 10mA. Bummer. Have to take the cap off at night to save some battery life.

I just made 2 of these copper mods yesterday. So far they are just a functioning first draft, as I'm waiting on parts. Right now its just mechanical, but once I get the parts I will be wiring a switch. I'm not interested in the mechanical pressure switch.

My initial thoughts? I LOVE this mod. Right now I am using a short 6V 2CR5 Li-Ion battery with a spacer and it is just great. I am waiting on the 14500's from rtdvapor.com
