And the Provari hater's complain about how difficult it's one button design is. They're gonna love this thing!

This confuses me Baditude, why even bring the Provari into the discussion on something that has no business near a ProVari?

I have been looking at these, and I suppose I need some real users input on it. They surely do look interesting though and I would love to hear more. I use my kick pretty rarely, mostly when I coil a bit "off" for my mech and I am too lazy/short tempered to do it over. Usually it is purely an operator error thing that the kick fixes

I wonder what the price point will be?

I saw that video yesterday and I'm really interested in the Crown ! I picked up a "Kick" a few days ago and I really like it ! I'm using it in a Smoktech "Natural" and I like the way it "Regulates" the battery which has ended the loss of vapor as the battery runs down. I get the same "vape" right up till the end of the battery's charge which is why I really like the Kick. From what I saw on the video the "Crown" is going to work pretty much the same but it's going to end the guessing at the setting as it will "Beep What The Watts Out" setting is. So, I'll be watching for it's release with "Great Interest" :vapor:

How often would you be changing your watts anyway, firing the carto isn't going to hurt. It changes watts in 1.0 increments instead of the0.5 of regular vw mods and the infinite dial style of the kick. This is interesting if it has a better price and allows more battery use. I get tired of pulling a battery for recharge at 3.7 volts with a kick because it shows lower voltage under load and sputters then stops. I'd like to get a little more use out of my battery before recharging.

Glad to see more devise options coming out and totally fine with a single button interface, but the feedback chimes and beeps may take some getting use to. The sensitivity of whole watt increment changes on the VW module isn’t granular enough IMO and a 10 watt limit…I wouldn’t call this one a Kick killer.

Now the VV module with 5.5 volt upper limit is very intriguing, especially if it can handle the amp draws of ultra LR RBAs and even better if it can use more the battery’s charge cycle before it starts sputtering. Could very well be an option for ULR RBA users looking for heat regulation.

My comment was a sarcastic stab at the Provari haters, many of whom bring up the fact that its one button design to change between modes is too complicated for them to learn. These comments are generally made by people who have never used a one-button control, and is based just on assumptions, not experience.

Watching the above video, the steps involved to change the voltage or wattage reminded me of the comments that those whiners make. It was not a knock on the Crown in any way, shape, or form from me.

I know full well that this device is created for mechanical mods, and not those devices that already have variable voltage/wattage.

I actually decided against getting a Kick for my Silver Bullet because I frequently change the voltage to suit my taste with all of my juice flavors, and would find using a Kick not to be convenient at all. I needed a device that could easily change voltage on-the-fly, and not have to remove the battery and Kick each time I changed flavors, which is several times a day.

I can perfectly see something like the Crown to be a welcome alternative to the Kick.

I think i will stay with my kicks.I do not like the ring tone coming from my mod or having to remember, how many times i have to push this button to unlock, turn it up and down,or lock it again let's not forget how many times you have to tap it to read the wattage/voltage.That's just too much work to vape.

DITTO, Seems like making something like something else, but saying how can we make it different enough so no one says "copy cat"
There is nothing wrong with bringing out another choice in similar products. This gives people the chance to add to , or improve on a product, IE televisions.
