I originally wanted the TFV4 after trying it at 100 watts a few weeks ago. I heard some things about the O-rings and decided to give the Crown tank a try while I wait for the TFV4.
The .5 OHM grade D stainless coil really kept that horrible metallic nasty taste for tank after tank. The guy at the shop said the break in with the .25 stainless coils was only a few good puffs. I loaded it up with rocket man, a high VG blueberry parfait and was really impressed. I swapped coils after a week to try bakery and coffee vapes and that horrible taste just wont go away.
I love the tank, I have the RTA section coming in the mail and am sure I will love using it, in fact that tank even without pre built coils is still worth it to me.... BUT
What is the deal with the Crown stainless coils... is it the stainless, the coils, what is the trick here.
I have tried the .25 coils as low as 30 watts and as high as 70 watts and nothing seems to help.
I am currently using the vertical coils in my subtank mini and just love, love, love, the flavor quality from them.
