Dragon, very nice, I like the brass & burl. I'm curious where you got your knurled knobs and how brass was to work with in comparison to the aluminum. It looks like the inside of a Lincoln!

I got the knobs at Ace. The brass was easier to work with than aluminum to my surprise. The aluminum seemed to build up on the edges when grinded but not so much with the brass.

Nice series there dragon! Too bad Ace hasn't got an online presence, I'm looking for m3 threaded knobs, smaller on the OD than what you've got there.

The buildup on the edge when grinding, you mean the filings? What are you grinding with? Using 1.5mm alu, I merely use a hacksaw to get a octagon close to the oval shape then a file to get the nice oval from that.

I'm using an electric hand held grinder. Hack saw and a hand file will do though. Takes longer but will get you to the same place in the end. A spindle sanding attachment on your drill press will work too.

I have thought about selling it. Problem is that the parts alone are $50 and it takes about 3 hours to make. Adding the battery, charger , and an atomizer would cost another $30. Not sure I could charge enough to make it worth my time. I know Nucks Fistpack is $200 and the CJB is $100. If I could get somewhere in between I might give it a shot.

It is really a beautiful device. If it works as well as it looks you might really have a marketable mod there. Of course, prototypes ALWAYS cost $$$$ but once you get the design solid, especially a non-flooding pump and atty combo, going into production (quantity parts purchase, machined or manufactures casings, etc.) brings costs waaaay down to where you should be able to find a market worthy price point. :2c:

I'm only a month into vaping, and dropped analogs a week ago (after 30 years - god bless Vaping!!) but I still wrestle with a useable portable. At home, I drip at my desk (PS 5V PT) and pace appropriately so I have no probs. But, at night, on sofa, movies, tv, etc I just over-vape, drip too much, carts are a headache and get juice in the mouth... I use cartos for on-the-go convenience but don't really like them either. Other devices: Tornado/eGo and nice true 3.7 box but a true 5V pump, that requires minimal effort/tinkering to use on-the-go, would be awesome! {an on/off switch would be a nice pocket friendly touch too}

While I have several devices (after considerable research), and have not yet tried any of the juice boxes, this one captures my curiosity more than any I have seen. I hope you look into ways to produce this in a way that reduces your costs and maintains quality (especially the feeding mechanisms) and consider making these for sale. If you do, please keep me on your "Interested parties" list!! I look forward to Stormi's (unbiased :blink: ) review!!

Congrats and hope you are getting much pleasure from your creation!
