Haven't tried this myself, but thought I would post this just to highlight that the phenomenon is somewhat common:
Zombie Killer - FuZion Vapor
"The official killer of zombie tongue."

Zombie Tongue. We've all experienced this phenomenon. This is the fuzion answer to the age old vaping problem. If you're like me, you vape so much that no matter what flavor you try; you just CAN'T taste anything. Zombie Killer is a very fresh balance of sweet spearmint and hint of cucumber and melon. Many here in the the fuzion lab use this to cure zombie tongue; but it ended up being an all day vape.

Rinse your mouth out from time to time people! It has no 'taste' per se... But it will burn all that funky junk off your tongue and (completely and entirely clean your mouth BTW)
Drink lots of water. Not super nuclear soda's and fruit juices and expect to taste weak juices in weak atty's.

Also consider your method of delivery. Some devices 'put out' and some things not so much. I have tried the exact same juice in probably 10 atomizers and it does not taste the same in ANY of them. NOT A ONE!

Keep your mouth clean, hydrate, and find the atomizer / combo that works best for you. If you like soft flavors... don't expect them to 'pop' if your stuffy, have a cold, or are using a low output atomizer.

And for those wondering - there is a horsepower to flavor ratio where if you can't taste anything. I assure you - there is a juice out there and a atomizer that will MAKE it happen. I got there a little using protanks and VV's. Some of the berry's were blah, any of the softer flavors were "o-k".

Move to an RBA - ding!

Now I can literally do a gentle flavor and still taste it regardless of what I drink, eat, etc. Again. Horsepower.

What's an RBA?

I'm waiting for mine to go away as well. I had two weeks of bliss....tried out all these flavors and they were delicious. Settled on two I really like (my 'all day vape' as people say), then one day I taste nothing. Rebuild all my tanks, switch out wicks/coils, everything (thought something was broke with my equipment).

and now, a couple days later I can taste my brand new flavor because it's tart (which is very different than the last 2 all day vapes)...finally had some flavor --just a little bit. I hope that's a sign that my taste is coming back.

--the worst part is I ordered like 8 new juices I couldn't taste a thing from any of them!

I'm just over 7 weeks into vaping, and I've been lucky - no vaper's tongue. The PG did cause chapped lips for the third or fourth week, but it was nothing too severe.

As others have mentioned, I'm sure different types of flavors will have different effects on people regarding taste muting. I was a menthol smoker, and switched to menthol vaping (which I'm still doing). Maybe vaping the same flavor I smoked is why I haven't had vaper's tongue, or maybe it's some completely different reason.

Anyone who is having trouble tasting things, I hope it clears up soon so they can enjoy their favorite flavors again. :)

I did this, and my dinner and iced tea tasted incredibly intense! Wow! (oh, and my juice tastes great too)

Glad that worked for you guys. It certainly cleans your mouth. And not many people really do it any more with the advent of all the mouth washes and stuff. But those are usually a powerful flavor as well and can actually mess up your ability to taste like tooth pastes etc.

My daily vape is a somewhat dirty menthol blend. (Mass from freedom smokes) I'm totally addicted to it, but it's like a greasy menthol and it will destroy your ability to taste just about anything. I like a cotton candy, and a few berry's I bounce between in other devices. If I've been vaping the mass, those all seem weak. If I back off the menthol they taste stronger immediately. But a refresh (with hydrogen peroxide) always helps.

FWIW I vape Mass @ 18mg in a Kayfun 3.1 around 1 ohm. Considering Mass is potent in a clearo... not much cuts it, if you've been vaping that. It's the vaping equiv of lighting a cigarette with a cruise missile.

But I like it.

lol!

so the hydrogen peroxide is the secret cure? I can still sort of taste, but everything is muted/"washed out" with the exception of Kringle's Curse (candy cane)
Give it a try! 1 TB of the HP and one of H20. Easy breezy etc. I have had serious vapetongue over the last 2 weeks, making my commitment to vaping difficult. So far, this seems to be the best solution for me (and I tried a lot of the usual suggestions).
