Hey all,

I just recently got into vaping, and decided to order my first serious PV. Ordered an eGo kit, about 20 small bottles of various flavors of liquid, and just because it was cheap, a drip tip. Wasn't even sure what a drip tip was at the time.

Now, the drip tip is my best friend! I find it great for trying all the different flavors. No need to finish up a whole cart or tank worth of liquid. A few drops, and I'm ready to try another flavor. If it's really obnoxious tasting, I'll clean the cart before the next flavor, but otherwise, I just choose a new bottle and add a few drops whenever my pv is empty. I love it!

If you also want to use it as a mouthpiece of popular stuffing cartos like Boge 510 or V4L/Bloog/SI KR808D-1 cartos then I recommend the simple plastic or delrin ones from LiteCigUSA.net

If you want something gorgeous for an atomizer, check out swirl aka twist (at Nhaler) and Pawn and Ming drip tips at Cherry Vapes and I think Avid Vapor. But these usually don't fit in cartos.

Any suggestions on which drip tip to try?

I just bought a cheapo black delrin. Cost like two bucks, and seems like it'll last almost forever. That's the other thing I like about the drip tip. Not much on it that can wear out easily. It's just a mouthpiece with a large opening for dripping juice into, and a rubber o-ring to seal it to the atty.

Oh, and dormouse, thanks for the correction on battery types. I ordered manuals, so didn't even think about that :p

A note for other new vapers - drip tips are not your best friend if you have auto batteries or any battery with an open threaded-end hole right through into the battery

Is there any option other than cartomizers for my "auto" Volt(kr808) battery?

Just bought some DIY juice supplies... Is there a way to test an e-juice mix without filling a whole cartomizer?

...thanks!

Re testing juices on auto Volt - use DSE901 standard resistance atomizer and DSE901 cartridges (or any other standard resistance atomizer and its cartridges by using an 808 to whatever adapter). Don't use LR atomizers. Drip tips are not recommended on auto batteries. OR buy a Volt manual battery since you should have a spare battery anyway, and use the atomizer w/ a drip tip)

I purchased a flat, black delrin drip tip with my 510 starter kit a little over a month ago, but have only really used it a couple times. =/

I keep my pv in a shot glass on top of my desk/table with the cartridge down to keep the atty from flooding. I turn it cartridge side up a minute or so before I take a drag, to allow the juice to wick. I'm also currently using Highping cart mod, I've also tried the PTB mod in various forms.

Dripping seemed kinda messy to me since I kept forgetting there was a drip tip on my pv and kept getting juice in my mouth, all over the desk and inside of my shot glass. But I guess I'll have to give it another try!

I've read that dripping is best when the wick and atty bridge are removed, should I do this? Will it improve the dripping experience that much more?.. I've only got two attys right now tho.. Probably time to order some more.. :p

Thanks for this Dormouse! I think i'll order a manual Volt battery. Do I need to find an 808 specific drip tip for this? Much appreciate the help!
