I think the consensus is that the 8 hours is leftover literature from the old Ni-Cad battery days. These new batteries do not have memory issues.

I have never given any PV battery an 8 hour charge, and have never had any battery problems.

Thanks for the tip. I'm glad to hear it because where new PV's are concerned I'm lacking in the patience end of things.

E-V has 'er listed as 650 mAh or 900 mAh on their site now, if folks are interested. Log in for full features.

So is this another version of the eGo-T? Not a lot of info on this PV

It depends on whether you consider a SmartCart to be a cart or a tank...but, yeah, it's kinda like that.

I've got the Torch but have also been using the Piper some lately and it's a true Tank. I've been asked to wait for new attys from the manufacturer via the seller before I do a "review" so I'll hold back on that for now, but there is another eGo style tank PV right here in Alberta.

So is the torch a differently branded piper? Do they have the needle wick system? So hard to get the real goods on these 2 units

The torch's atty looks like the mega atty, right down to the typical bridge...fits on an eGo batt but doesn't take a mega cart.

The Piper's atty doesn't have a needle at all so there's no filler in a teeny place to complicate things. The cart is a tank with no filler. Once I get those new attys I'll try to take some pics or scan em. Maybe they are on ecf somewhere already...I dunno.

gotvapes just emailed an announcement of the "Turbine". Turns out it is the identical atty and tank as for the Piper but it seems that they aren't offering it with the batt that I have here. BTW gotvapes is saying they got the thing first...but they didn't. See Cdnvapor's page. BIG 2.5 ml tank.

gotvapes does offer a pretty good looky loo at it though in their vid:

I just realized what the Torch reminded me of:

Hey AlbertaClipper,

So if I am clear on what you said: this thing doesn't fit the eGo Tank?

Also, what does it vape like? Is the vapor the same as a regular eGo, more, less, what? I'm wondering if the voltage output is 3.2 like an eGo or 3.7 like some of the clones (if its greater, there should be more vapor).

Just curious from a research point of view :)
