The effects of heat on e-juice?

I was thinking about using menthol crystals to give my non-menthol juices that I bought a menthol kick and I know that the juice has to be heated a bit to dissolve the crystals, but I was wondering if heating the juice effects the nic content or anything else in it? I heard someone say that heating nic in juices kills the nic, which doesn't make sense to me because the juice has to be heated to vaporize.

If you get crystals you can crush them and dissolve it in PGA, or there are a number
of suppliers that sell straight menthol flavor (and it should say crystals dissolved in alcohol).

But be careful adding in the drops of either mix, it will be VERY strong, a drop or two, try it,
add another drop......

AFAIK, the only thing heat will do is thin the juice temporarily, just like cold will make it thicker until it warms up again. If you're working with menthol crystal, you can just add them to your dilution liquid and then sit the bottle in a bowl of very warm water. It'll make a nic free menthol liquid and you can just add a drop or two to your juice.

Could I dissolve the crystals in PG or VG instead of PGA or vodka? The only reason being is because I am 20 and I'm not fond of the idea of having an opened bottle of liquor in my room and trying to explain to my parents why.
So since no one thus far has mentioned that heat kills nic, I assume the person was blowing gas up my ....

Heat is typically not good for eliquids and or storing Nic, he wasn't blowing smoke at you at all. You can use PG/VG to dissolve your crystals but its not going to work nearly as good as PGA is.

I you mentioned you needed one shot, and it would help you quit smoking,
your parents might just give it to you.
Us old fts are more understanding than you might think...
