If you're talking about the eGo Mega cartomizers, I've tried them and personally I didn't care for them at all. I kept getting a burned taste which I attributed to the juice not wicking fast enough. When I took several hits close together it would do it every time. If I spaced my hits out by 30 seconds or so it was ok. But I wasn't satisfied with the vapor production or throat hit either. I'm used to LR atty's and the Mega carto just didn't do it for me. That being said, some people do like them so my advice is to give it a shot. Litecigusa.net sells them individually here Joye ego mega Blank Cartomizers so you could try it pretty inexpensively.

I had similar issues, I tended to smoke them faster than they could wick causing it to produce a nasty taste. The only time I'll use anything like that is when I'm traveling long distance. Personally cartridges were easier to deal with when driving anyways since I just needed to add more, cartos required more hardware to fill and generally created a larger mess.

They aren't prohibitively expensive, I'd give them a shot and make your own judgments since like cskent said, some like them.

I prefer the cylinder ego atties. Same capacity for liquid, actually larger, and more consistant. Though the ego carto's arent bad, and flavor and vapor is good also. It boils down to a preference. I'd still order you up a couple to try, a couple of each if affordable. The LR cylinder atty with a standard cart seems to be the longest lasting, most consistent vape for me personally. And Im brutal on atties and cartos. The LR tanks- I kill in a day, and not impressed. But to each their own.

I had a beta early on and it worked fine. Thing is - with any attys or cartos - you have to keep them wet - first sign of a loss of flavor, if you don't refill you're going to experience all kinds of off flavors - with the CE2 is was metal or solder... with the eGo mega carto it would be plastic but I never experienced that - the thing lasted 3 months before I finally autopsied and there was one are that looked smooth - probably from the heat but not really melted. I've seen other pictures of melts though. Keep everything wet, esp. any LRs.

But... there is no reason to get the mega eGo carto when the mega eGo atty/cart has the same volume and is a heck of a lot easier to refill. So that was the last one I used before going to the megas and now to the tanks.
