A shame there's already a 'cracking plastic' issue. I love the way CE2's vape, but they're just not worth the (cracking/leaking/hairline cracks right out of the pack) hassles to me, and these appear to share the same (negative) issues.

Man, I'm behind the times when it comes to vaping technology. Just migrating from the 510 to the Ego-T solution, and learning about how the tanks are designed. now there's a Ego-W. Hmm...

I have the eGo-W and two of the clearomizers... I'm looking for the same answer as you! I have put juice in two of them that I'm not too fond of and would like to switch over to different flavors.

The only thing that comes to mind for me is vaping it basically dry, then filling with warm water using the syringe provided, then extracting with the syringe 2 or 3 times to clean it out, and finally filling to about 1/4 full and vaping that out to get rid of the remaining water before truly using it. That sounds like a LOT of work, but with no experience dealing with tanks, this is all I can come up with.

Any other suggestions?

OK, I've tried the cleaning procedure I outlined above. It didn't work for me. It DID get the old flavor out - mostly. However, even with being very gentle, I apparently broke the seal of the plastic to the metal on the clearomizer. The liquid I put in after the cleaning procedure began leaking fairly quickly. My next attempt is going to be simply vaping it as empty as possible and then putting in about 1/4 full of the new liquid, vaping that, and seeing whether the old flavor 'goes away'.

I'll update more later... but at around $8 per clearomizer, I simply can't afford to replace them every time I want to change flavors. I guess once I settle on 2 or 3 liquids that I want to stick with, I should be OK. Other than this situation (which was most certainly my fault - maybe I put in the water too quickly causing too much pressure - not sure), they have been durable for me even after several refills.

OK, this seems to work OK. I did cheat a little and extract some of the liquid with the syringe, but I put in a little air and then pulled out a little juice. Slow and easy did the trick. I probably could have rinsed it out using this method as well, but opted to just 'vape out' the little bit of the old juice mixed with some of the new. It tasted...well, strange (I was getting rid of peach and putting in chocolate... odd combination of flavors!) but after 10 - 20 draws, all of the peach appeared to be gone and I started tasting only the chocolate. So, that's my input on changing liquids...

FIRST OPTION: Know your juice and dedicate a clearomizer to it.
SECOND OPTION: vape out as much of the old as you can, then put in a little of the new - deal with the taste for a short while, then it should be completely converted to the new.

I think I just got one of these last night, but it's not quite what I've seen in the pictures. From a google search of ego-w, the cartomizer has some sort of metal connector on the top where presumably the pen cap screws onto, and the rubber mouthpiece fits inside the carto. Mine didn't come with a pen cap, doesn't have the metal top, but instead has a rubber mouthpiece that fits over the outside of the carto instead. It looks the same otherwise though. Same diameter as the battery, has the same oval shaped windows in the black metal case. Seems to be dual coil from the strength of the vapor and that it has 2 wicks. The store I got it from got them as an extra and didn't know much about them. I would get a picture for ya, but picture yours, without the metal connector on top and a big rubber mouthpiece over the top instead. That's all mine is. Works VERY VERY well though. I LOVE IT!

Hi all,

Can anybody please let me know what clearomizers fit with the EGO W. I went into Vapor Alley but the clearomizers I saw don't seem to have the right fitting. In the Ego Atomizers section I could only find items for the ego c and t but no W. Can anybody please point me in the directions that fit the ego w battery? I am new to this so please spell it out in English not in technical jargon eg: I hear mention of 310 LR (Don't know if mine is LR or not) and how can I check the ohms with a multimeter. As you can see I am not technical so really need some help.

You're welcome.
Anything 510 and 306 will fit, but do not recommend LR with that battery

The eGo-W battery is the same as any eGo battery. So anything that will work with other eGos, will work with yours.

Rick, I notice that the F1 Clearomizers on your site don't seem as transparent as the older pictures I've seen of them. Have they changed the plastic tube to the thicker ones that don't crack as easily, like the CE3 XL's have now?

Yes, these are from a different supplier, they are not the ones with the LED.
I have had no complaints with these.
