I started with 901's (in April), added USB passthroughs, and even ended up with a used Screwdriver... then later bought a 510 kit, several extra attys, batts, and USB passthru (w/ inline 10440 batt.)... I decided early on to stick exclusively with Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured (PG) liquid because it tastes good to me, and it's made in the USA.

The 901 power supplies all measure ~3.82v on a digital multimeter, the 510 is ~4.12v, fully charged.

Bottom line, no matter what hardware I've tried, I still don't get the throat hit and vapor that I need to keep me from craving an analog at times. After reading here about how so many people love their 510s for those two attributes, I really thought the 510 was the answer to my problem, so...

To the veterans of vaping, is it my liquid that's not putting out the vape I want?... should I try to mix some VG into the JCTC?... should I try higher voltage vaping?.... what??? Please point me in the right direction!... any advice appreciated... I really want to quit analogs altogether!

Try one of the more powerful mod's that use two batteries. I have two Screwdrivers and they are great, but they can't compare to my Prodigy. I have the Copper coming in the mail and it's less expensive and rather unique but seriously, I've got the RN4081, 901, 510, 2 Screwdrivers, the AdapteR (which I'm waiting for the sleeve so I can use two batteries with it) and 2 Prodigys.

Nothing to me gives me the throat hit and the vapor like the Prodigy. There are other mod's available that I'm sure are good too. I hear a LOT good about the GG and the SuperT so there are choices.

I've just nothing that works for me like the Prodigy!

Good Luck!

if the 510 is gurling its flooded and wont produce as much vapor. If it's tasting dry it wont produce much vapor. I thin out my stuffing to half as much as use the straw mod. VG will always reduce throat hit and may or may not improve vapor(depending if it's wicking properly) Butterscotch flavored juice has been the best throat hit I've seen so far, but there is a learning curve to the draw, the juice control and other things. I learned how to vape a 510 much better after about three weeks in. Trial and error and atty break in's may apply. If that don't work the mods would be the next step
