Join CASSA, write letters to Senators and Reps.
Do learn to DIY. Rebuild coils and atomizers. Stock up on Nicotine for the freezer, try to wean yourself down on Nicotine consumption.
They will never stop flavorings because they are used in too many foods. Same is true with PG and VG.
Get mechanical mods and you should be good to go... with a little bit of learning on how to put it all together.
Nicotine and the appliances are really the only thing they have a ghost of a chance to control. Everything else is used in other industries.
Started vaping 1.5 years ago and have cut the Nicotine down to 1/4 what I began with (24 mg/ml).
Funny thing is I have found that flavors are every bit as much to purchase as Nicotine.
Just my 2 cents.

Yep, that article sounds a bit hysterical to me (but I still have nic stored in the freezer :D). I spoke to a major nicotine supplier at Vape Blast recently and he thought any future regulations would have to do with concentrations that can be sold and the facilities where juice is manufactured. Who knows what the FDA will do, so I just decided to stock up, learn to build, and make my own juice instead of worrying about it.

This. Thats exactly (what I think) regulation is going to look like. On concentration levels, where the juice if manufactured and taxes. While I don't like the idea of regulation concentration levels and increased taxes(that's the big one), I do think forcing E liquid manufactures in to certified labs will help legitimize vaping as a whole.

The closest I get to buying pre-made e-liquid is buying pre-mixed flavor concentrates. That's one route that may become more popular if flavor regulations are put in place. Unflavored nicotine and the flavor mix for your favorite liquid sold separately.

I've gotten so lazy from mixing concentrates that I hardly do any real DIY any more. Costs a bit more, but I don't use nearly as much flavor as (what I think) most people like. Still way cheaper than buying pre-mixed liquids... and I never liked the pricing policy of 6mg liquids priced the same as 24mg liquids. Once you DIY, you realize the ridiculousness of this. It's the nicotine that costs money. The rest you get for change.

Exactly; might as well by 24mg or higher if available and dilute it. Slash the cost.

So I was stuck filling in for the receptionist at work yesterday and was browsing reddit. I found a thread on their e-cig area that talked about how soon it will be illegal to sell e-juice with flavorings and how all these ppl are stockpiling their juices in the freezer and how the only way to get juice is unflavored nicotine and how we wont be able to get any hardware from across the seas because the FDA will be running the show etc. Is this really a possibility? I felt like it was a bit hysterical but it started to make me nervous. Vaping has helped me in so many ways! Not only with quitting smoking but its helping me cope with my anxiety (i like to play with all my setups at night, its my hobby now!) and it helps me be a better type 1 diabetic (when I have the urge to snack even though my blood sugars are in a perfect range and I really don't need to mess with them- now I vape!).

I would love some opinions from people who may have some insight on all of this!
WoW, I could have wrote this post !!! As far as NOW being a non-smoking diabetic with anxiety that now has found a new awesome hobby. I LOVE messing around with different coils, watching videos on "how to's" and reviews. REALLY having fun with this, and would hate to see it taxed (which I believe is coming) or take it away all together ! That would be my luck though...
