anyone done a 5v regulator mod before?
where u source the regulator locally.....?

anyway, find the part number then goto sim lim tower there to buy .... slightly more ex than ebay but its faster ....

i got a 5v 1amp , but i heard that 1 amp not good enough, so if wan to do hor, then ebay is the better choice lor ...

this one shld be ok ....

i bought this ....

anyway, u got to attach a heatsink aka alu pc heatsink etc to the ic, to cool it .... and remember that u must keep the voltage higher more of 1.55v , thus yr batteries must be of 6.55v and above for the regulator to work ....

there';s plenty of mod regulator designs in the forum .... there;s where i learn also :|

if possible add a voltmeter to the setup, i currently use this ... works like a charm!

actually i jus got back home, been out helping my customer and stuffs, damned super sleepy and blured :|

Wow this is great for stealth vaping. Hey bro where to get the batt to atty connector locally? Or do you a spare one to sell. i am interested to build one too. Thanks in advance.

end up i order some across the bridge and some from HC.

see inside got space to put at least 2 batteries and a voltmeter and a small piece of heatsink and wires .... lols!!!!
