The eVic easy head

Considering my control head died an early death and I absolutely HATE the Ego mod control head I tried to replace it with, I am a little more than irritated that my $114 silver tube sits unused. It's over a month after joyetech announced the release and yet nobody seems to have it available for sale yet. Nice. The price tag is about all I can afford now that hubby got laid off. I really, really liked my e-vic and was bummed when it quit. I have discovered that I can get it to vape intermittently but I'm totally blind as the screen is completely dark. I put a Clearomizer that has an LED light in it on it just now and can see that it's emitting a weaker charge the first second or so and then hits full strength. However on occasion it flickers and sends out no juice to the carto at all. Then the next depress of the button it flickers back to life. I'll enjoy it while it's in electronic hospice, awaiting the time of its final expiration and hope the easy head shows up on a vendors shelf sooner rather than later.

I'm kinda bummed that the Easy Head (har har har har.....I'm such a 12 year old) essentially renders your eVic just a giant eGo battery. No variable voltage (aside from the "auto voltage" that only goes a little past 4V) or anything.

Still though, it'll work as a backup. I just want that straight top cap and those new tank doo-hickys.
;)

Have one - it has a charge port and a vape button - no instructions came with the unit - I'm using it as a backup for now - works fine - but the evic atomizer is awesome - it vapes like a tank well worth the purchase - if anyone can figure out how to program the easy head I would be super appreciative

so the MVR software doesn't detect the easy head ?

just found this on health cabin's site, so i guess it isn't programmable with the MVR software.

How to switch between constant voltage output mode and unconstant voltage output mode?
1. Please click the button 5 times within 2 seconds to turn the battery off.
2. Please keep pressing the button for a few seconds until the button LED blink orange 3 times.
3. Please click the button 5 times within 2 seconds to turn the battery on.

How to switch between unconstant voltage output mode and constant voltage output mode?
1. Please click the button 5 times within 2 seconds to turn the battery off.
2. Please keep pressing the button for a few seconds until the button LED blinks blue 3 times.
3. Please click the button 5 times within 2 seconds to turn the battery on.

not sure how you change the voltage though in what they call "unconstant voltage mode" LOL Chinese translators kill me

Thanks dave - I hope when I use unconstant voltage crazy things don't happen

Any brave explorers out there? I may be willing to try later - and report back unless the unconstant voltage warps me to another universe - lol

Unconstant voltage mean that you will use the volt as is on the battery. Fully charged batt will give you 4.2v and will drop down with use, just like a mech with no kicked.

The ease head will give you only 2 modes, regulated i think is at 3.7v or unregulated that is what i explain above.

Thanks for the explanation - I do get it - I was just playing- I vape unregulated with my mechs - some times I kick them for kicks and regulation - I use my regulated mods sometimes to - however I feel like If i vape in unconstant mode I'm entering a new frontier ( at least according to joyetech) - just goofing on the translation

it is a regulated/unregulated control head. 5 clicks on/5 clicks off, hold button down to switch between regulated/unregulated. same as the ego-t mod control head v2, BUT includes USB charging port and a flat untapered top. i dont have one but a friend does. im going to order one as a backup. $18.75 for the control head, and another 12 bucks for a tube set and you have a complete mod ( less the battery, ive got a bunch of the 18650s, panasonic).im a pretty active guy and im always afraid im going to drop my evics, so it would be a good alternative for when im on the go. one of these control heads, a tube, a vivi nova V6 8ml tank and your set for just about anything..........

someone may have answered this, but it has 2 modes, one is regulated, one is unregulated. In regulated you get around 3.3v. and when using unregulated your getting around the normal power of 3.7v. So basically the use for this thing is if you break your control head and dont want to pay the money, you can buy this so you can still vape, just without all the perks the control head offered. Hope this helps. Btw, got the info from a youtube video.

I have had mine for about 2 weeks now, and I think I use it more, then my regular evic, it needs no flat top cap, no plastic. I am taking it to work as a back up devise, with a air flow controller, and a tatroe tank. The only thing I don't understand, is why they didn't make this thing, a vv, or vw devise? I think they would have had the room to do that, basically making it a big ego twist, I really hate all the plastic on the original.
