PB is always the one I go to when I'm considering something. I have never picked up on any bias, even when I was fully expecting it. He may be long winded, but you know the product pretty well by the time finish the video.

On a side note...I really do care if the buttons are actually plastic or metal, chrome plated will eventually be white plastic.

I like PB's reviews, but find Daniel's, (DJLsb Vapes), to be more thorough. Daniel also reviews more products. Lately, Phil's vids have been very few and far between. Phil does do a lot of important advocacy work though, and I really respect him for that.

I find sometimes reviewers can be stuck in their ways. For example the wismec theorem comes to mind. It's by far one of my favorite rta's iv ever used. Some of the cons baffle me. 1. Not holding a lot of juice(I always carry a unicorn bottle anyway, it literally takes less then 10 seconds to fill it.) 2. It leaks????(it might be the first rta that has NEVER leaked on me. I left it full on its side for an entire night and not ONE drop of liquid) 3. Breaking the glass by removing it(I think sometimes people forget that it is GLASS, glass is fragile and there should be care when removing it, I have removed mine at least 3 times in about a week and it's not even remotely close to being as bad as people say, I think some people just rip it off like a cave man)

What you're saying here is that your opinion/s are subjective and differ from those of many others, (in this case vape critics). Well... duh. However, most of the rest of us do care about the materials things are made of, their weight, and other physical characteristics. I am one of those who think that the iStick 200W TC is pointless with the RX200 already on the market. It makes little sense to me. I guess Eleaf just wanted to put out a product to compete with Wismec's, (really JayBo's), superior design, and their parent company; Joyetech, was ok with that. I s'pose they think it's good for "the kids" to compete with each other.

The problem I have with many "reviews" is that they're based on a couple dozen hours', (in some cases, even less), experience with the product being "reviewed". A lot of potential issues with how a product is constructed/assembled rarely come to light in such a short amount of time. The focus of too many critics is just to crank out as many videos as possible, to keep that vape swag comin, and up their channel views. They have some value as general overviews, but that's it.
I can't totally disagree with you because the craziest things are important to me as well, where some couldn't care in the least ... I even watch to see if some ugly looking box that otherwise does have good features has some company's skin wrap already waiting for it .... I nearly skipped the RX 200 simply due to the 1956 Chevy looking Teal and White paint job.

i watch mike, fagan, rip for their close ups to get a gauge of a hardwares form factor. It's hard to get a sense of that with just words or pictures sometimes.

I watch busardo and djlsb for their bench tests, tc accuracy tests, hardware specifications.

Reviews have their place just take their pros and cons with a grain of salt bc ofc opinions are always subjective.
