So here's one that ought to be added to the "Understanding your symptoms" portion of the ECF library.

Over the last week, something has happened to me. My wife made kebobs twice and the vegetables have such AMAZING flavor. I asked her," how did you season these?"

Her answer: " Just a little lowry's"

The peppers and onions and cucumber oh my god! Each with its own distinct flavor!!!

Then today I had a small bowl of chocolate ice cream and it was soooo rich and delicious. And it was cheapo ice cream by the tub!!!

I had always known that smoking affected my taste buds. But I had no idea what a dramatic change would happen after switching to vaping. I DON"T LIKE VEGETABLES! They were always a mostly flavorless "filler" so I ate something other than the meat.

OH and the STEAK! I added no A1 sauce this time and it was soooooo gooooooooood!

Has anyone else experienced this when they started vaping? This has been a complete surprise for me.

everything tastes so good to me now, i have been vaping for a few months but i want to try all the foods i did not like before and some of them i have grown to enjoy probably a bit too much so as i'm getting fatter by the day (because i'm too idle to do anything energetic) i just keep reminding myself that at least i'm not on the analogs so i've got to be healthier.....i hope

Yup - a month or so of vaping and I was beginning to notice that food "might" be tasting better, but I wasn't certain. But Thanksgiving dinner we had the usual, which includes butternut squash drowned in butter & brown sugar. I was sampling stuff before it got to the table and the squash was Sweet! - it didn't need the brown sugar - wow, I never knew that.

I'm also finding that I love cottage cheese, it's delicious. In the past I could take it or leave it, but now I can go through a quart in a day or 2. Speaking of which, how many people know that cottage cheese contains PG (propylene glycol), the same stuff we use in nicotine juice that is so bad for us according to the FDA? (At least my brand does, not much, but it's in their, according to the ingredients label.)

Yeah, I've gained a little since I quit:(

But a weird thing happened. I used to think some foods were too spicy, now I actually like spicier foods better for some weird reason. Maybe because I can taste the other elements besides just the heat.

This gives me a brilliant idea how about curry, that would be worth a try for an interesting flavour it just might stop me eating too many of them. Could vaping be the new dieting for 2010 ?

Love curry, although don't know about vaping it, though! Have you tried TW's Patriot Range Mad Dog? It is a black pepper/mustard mix. I can't vape it alone, but I add it to my tobacco flavors.

Vaping for a little over a month now.. and taste is starting to come back...

The trouble is... the cheap o' beer that I have been happily drinking for years now.. is starting to taste like the crap that it really is...

I have been experimenting with home made juice.. and being from New Orleans I have been thinking about some spicy juice... have not tried to vap one yet.. but cayenne pepper???? or crab boil??? one day I will get brave enough to try :)

Couldnt take leftover to work today so I had Wendy's. My favorite burger tasted like crap today.

The Italian sausage we had tonight with spaghetti was amazing. The fennel REALLY stood out. Same brand we always got that I thought was so so was simply delicious tonight.

on a side note, three of the people I work with have been trying to quit smoking. All three fell off the wagon this weekend. And all three approached me about vaping today. I think one was just asking, one is still on the fence, but curious and the other is ready to make the plunge, he must have asked a BILLION questions today.

I of course told him all about these forums.
