Hey, Sumi. I'm not a cloud chaser. It really bothers me that you are so obsessed with chasing clouds and you haven't begun rebuilding yet. You don't even have a mod yet.

I understand you are relatively new to vaping (eG0's right?), and you are extremely excited to get into the heavy duty gear. Just make sure you don't jump into something that you might regret later because you didn't take the time to learn everything you should know first.

Please start out more slowly and learn what you need to learn before getting into the super sub-ohm builds. Just a simple single microcoil around 1.o ohm initially. Then when you can make those consistantly, move on to a dual coil setup (two 2.0 ohm coils to make 1.0 ohm dual coil setup). My concern is that you are going to make a coil around 0.2 ohm and have a catastrophic accident. You don't even have a mod yet, and you are already planning to be a cloud chaser.

FYI, its not so much the RDA which makes the clouds you seek, its the build you create. You can have a $100 RDA and if you don't make the right build on it its gonna suck.

Im going to be using a box mod so its doesnt matter. The reason I am into vaping is not to stop smoking or anything. Its just the clouds which i like. I love doing smoke tricks. I want a good rda that is just easy to build and give's a good amount of vapor at 30-50 watts. I think that the ipv2 would win over the t5. The t5 is a nice looking device but then again, I thought that the bottom of the device was easy to take off but it wasn't. Now im not sure if the plume veil is made for blowing clouds or even for flavor chasing. so what would you recommend? I will be using efest 18650 batteries.

.... "I will be using efest 18650 batteries."

I would use a 30 amp battery if I were you. Sony vtc4 or vtc5. Especially in a 50w device. I know that's whats recommended for the DNA 30 devices.
It wouldnt make a difference. I dont need 10 amps extra. Apart from the vtc5 which have a 100 mili amp difference doesnt actually give that much more battery life. When i go for newer devices in the future i will be sure to buy one.

The manufacturer of the DNA chip, Evolv, just recommends any quality IMR battery with a minimum of 12 amps continuous discharge rate. It doesn't have to be a 30 amp battery.

"Battery:
A single cell rechargeable lithium chemistry battery is recommended. Either a lithium ion or a
lithium polymer type can be used. Any battery used should be rated for a MINIMUM of 12 amps
continuous discharge current
. High C rated lithium polymer or IMR cylindrical cells are strongly
preferred. Make sure that all contacts and connections are capable of handling at least 12 amps."

If you are going for looks, get the gunmetal Patriot. $70 US. It will match the grey iPV box mod. I've got this exact RDA; it is a better performer than my IGO-W.

Going for clones. #CHEAP. the difficulty of the rda doesnt matter for me. I want a rda (ss) to go on a silver ipv2, looks sleeker and more premium. And something besides the patriot. Something which give the biggest clouds in the market.

What is the best rda for cloud chasing ? Also, whats your favorite rda on a daily basis ?
Since you're going for clouds, what kind of wire will you be building your coils with (type, gage, i.d. coil size)? What do you plan on using for your wicking material? What target ohms (assuming sub ohm) are you shooting for? What type of ohm meter will you be using?

These will all impact your cloud blowing abilities. Also how the air flows within the RDA will impact it as well.

Ok, dude, you're the expert here I see. I see plenty of cloud chasers using a Patriot. Good luck.

This is the point. He's coming straight from an eGo battery. He hasn't done much research yet on rebuildables. He hasn't made his first coil yet. He wasn't even a smoker. He really doesn't know what he needs or wants...except he wants clouds.

Okiii i dont like the patriot :/ I dont like the looks of it. I prefer a deep juicewell, 3 post, huge airholes. Thats the type i am looking for. I will be using 28 gauge and rayon cotton. The reason i wont listen is cause i dont like the patriot and thats it. I am researching on about the atomic by mcv atm.

You're vaping for the wrong reason my friend.

What am i suppose to do with the video ? Ive seen it :D
You said you wanted a rebuildable with "large air holes" so you can "blow large clouds". Baditude provided you a video with recommendations by Rip on RDA's that will do that.

If you don't like it, then figure it out for yourself!:2c:
