Hi guys, So eight days and no analogs. This has been my experience so far.I kinda jumped in to this with both feet so your experience may vary. I bought an inferno kit from volcano and opted for tere tabacco pure juice. Man ! that juice was so bad I almost went back to analogs. The good thing was that I found this forum and started reading all I could about juices since I was satisfied with my eGo kit and it was working fine. I ordered a sample kit form Johnson Creek and at the same time I rdered my drinking /smoking buddy a Via starter kit, cheaper than Volcano and essentially the same thing- eGo bateries with USB pass through ( PIF ) . The JC stuff is OK , much better than what came with my kit. So what has you'r experience been ?

I also ordered the Inferno to get me started and chose the same juice - you're right, it's awful. If I add enough menthol to it I can vape it but I'm at 59 days wih no analogs and tha bottle is still over 3/4 full.

Taste is so subjective that it's hard to rely on juice suggestions. It can be very hit & miss. I have probably bought 50 bottle of juice it the past 2 months and would only reorder maybe 5 of those.

For me so far, I have two vendors from whom I've liked multiple flavors. RAWR has probably been my fave to date - I don't like coconut but I've been vaping the hell out of some Truth Serum and Peach Serum. My first 30ml bottle purchase was Truth Serum.

LiquidXpress also has several flavors that I have enjoyed - Honey Flue Cured tobacco is excellent as is Cherry Pipe Tobacco as are several flavors in their Indulgence Line. I've tried probably 8-10 of their liquids and only had 1-2 that I didn't care for. They're not as cheap as some of the others but quality stuff.

I vaped JC for a year and loved it--100x better than Chinese crap juice IMO.

BUT I will share a secret I wish someone had told me right away. Get into DIY juice when you're comfortable and you will save a fortune. I can make for $30 with like 0 real effort -- simple single flavors I dump one flavor into some nicotine-- what I would have spent $120 on at JC. Had I known a year ago I would have saved at least a $1000 more. So, when you're more comfortable with quitting, check out the DIY section. You'll thank me someday cause you will save a ton...

GL!

Some when they switch to vaping it's chore to give up Cigarettes.

Me, from the day I began to vape, I stopped smoking and it was easy. I was addicted to the nicotine and the process, not the actual Cigarette. I started with 36mg e-liquid so I was getting enough nicotine. The e-cig satisfied my craving. I never looked back.

I always make sure to have backups for everything, so I never run out. 2 PV Extra atomizers and Cartomizers. One or twice a year I'll go to a Hookah Bar and have a bowl of Tobacco, but I don't count that.

Im a little over 2 weeks in and havent looked back

I started only because a friend stopped by and i lit up a smoke and he pulled out and ecig complete with tank.

After becoming fascinated he told me to go check out V4L. After a starter a starter kit with an auto I knew I liked it but the auto didn't give me the same TH as an analog. I went to a local store and tried a drip tip atomizer combo and bought it along with some juice. I'm mostly tobacco flavor and the stuff was terrible. So I went back to V4L and got their Wow Kamel along with a manual stick batt and an Ego kit.

I love my setups and juices. The Kamel is a phenomenal tobacco and I am now into a bit of peppermint and cinnamon too. I really like the V4L stuff and my local experience left me wanting to stick with the V4L stuff. Plus their CS rocks.

Best advice to any newbie to vaping: stock up. One equipment failure, run out of juice, you're gonna be smoking in the hour. When it comes to juice, I have yet to find anything that even resembles the taste of a tobacco. Be sure to invest a little and try a variety of flavors. I still laugh a bit when I think of the types of vape I love most, as when I started I thought the fact things like caramel apple and banana nut bread juice existed was ridiculous. When you DO find a juice or three you like, you will also discover that vaping is even more enjoyable than smoking ever was. Good luck, stick with it, you won't be sorry.

I have to agree with the above. Good gear and good juice are key to success . I started with 2 ego pass through batteries and a DCT tank in a kit. Soon got some attys and started experimenting with dripping, which IMHO is the best way to taste varius juices. I am now awaiting my provari mini which should get here tomorrow. This whole ecig thing has worked for me in two ways. First it has taken the nic urge out of the picture and secund it has given me a hobby i.e. something to do, a new field to explore and learn about and I am really excited about it. Havent picked up a cig since getting the ego and havent missed it at all.

I agree Cuando! I'm only 2 weeks in but I just wanted tobacco flavor at 1st.....still do for the most part....but already I've found a peppermint, cinnamon and cafe mocha that I really like and stocked up. The V4L Wow Kamel has a very good taste and is my go to....I tried a couple tobaccos from local stores and it was terrible. Once I got the Kamel I fell in love....camel lights were my analogs so i was in search of something that could come close....this one does.

After 1 week a friend of mine said well if it works for you then I'm doing it. Told him to grab the Ego kit and the Kamel and he too has never looked back. He thinks the Wow Kamel is better than the analog Camel and I agree!

Next up for me is DIY juicing!

I quit using 808D-1's and Virginia juice from V4L. You don't hear much about them on the forum lately - all you hear about is the Volt - but I think they have a very good ecig. I can't stand tobacco flavors any more but I always loved V4L's Wow Peppermint, Pancake and Coffee flavors.

Another FLoridian! Yeah I just picked up some Peacemaker based on some raves on their forum....it is really really awesome IMO. Being a noob with 2 weeks of experience I went there based on a recommendation from a friend who stopped by and pulled out his e-cig with tank (which fascinated me)....so I tried it and honestly it got here on a wednesday and I had a few more analogs. Then with my morning coffee that Thursday I had one analog and since then nothing but vaping and I didn't even try. Their setups are working great for me so I have no complaints. 2 manual Titans and 2 EGos and I'm all set for now.
