The Frankenstein - 5V Mod Made With Electric Screwdriver!

I didn't make this, but when the dude told me about it I just HAD to have pics - I have his permission to post it on ECF, and since he's a Montrealer I chose the Canadian subforum.

This is a cheap electric screwdriver from Canadian Tire, apparently bought on sale for around $10. Battery life isn't the greatest but I'm thinking car charger LOL - I'm calling it the Frankenstein for reference.

Okay here are the specs.

has 4 AA nicad batteries in a pack at 600mah
has a 6amp rocker switch
comes with a dumb charger that plugs into the unit (leave it on
overnight and it cooks the batteries)

comes off the charger at 5.2volts
with a dual coil 1.5ohm cart load it is 4.6volts
vapes for 80 puffs battery drops to 4volts
next 20 puffs and the battery is down to 3.6volts and needs to charge.

How awesome is that?

Not practical, but cool none-the-less. I'd like to see somebody try this with a 18v drill and a monster battery! LOL.

Haha it's alive! When we met the first time he'd just bought it and was talking about building it, glad to see it fully assembled! I'm sure you could stuff a 4000 mAh 26650 battery in there

Yeah we could put other batts in, but the beauty of this thing imho is that for $10 it comes with mod, batts, charger - all you need is an atty connector, which you can get from a dead eGo or something lol

This showed up at the Montreal vape meet.
Yes it was amazing, got to try 4.5 volts loaded with 1.5ohm DC carts, we ran it dry than discovered
you could plug the charger in for passthrough vaping. All that for less than 15$

It will also be at the next vape meet.
