The Gecko 2.0

I made another Gecko that carries a 18650 batt.

First off, I'm not really proud of the paintjob, unfortunately, metalic black is the only color I have left. I used a more tactile fire button. I also tried to incorporate a on/off switch so that I can put it in my pocket. This would have added about half an inch to the length so I discarded the idea (at least for this mod). I also transfered the vent hole to the end cap instead of it being on the tube like the first one.

Right now, I'm in the process of making a third mod that takes a 18350 batt with an on/off switch. Fitting everything in the tube was a PITA but I think I got it. Just got to do the finishing and paint job.

They weren't kidding when they said modding was addictive. I know my mods are so 2009 but I still love them. Baby steps.

Revised the paint job for Gecko 2.0 and just finished my third Gecko:

Here's a Panasonic high drain vs. a protected TF26650 at a very healthy 3A drain.

Good first punch, but it's the TF26650 for the knock-out.
