The girlfriend has thrust me into rebuildable attys for valentines day!

Sitting here at work a few min ago I get a text from my amazing girlfriend that included a picture of a device called an hcigar Taifun gt. She went to the vape store and based solely off my random ramblings about wanting to step up my vape game bought me this device. She said she told the guy I wanted 1.8 ohms sat back and watched the show. Her observations were pretty comical.

"sure didnt seem like something someone as lazy as you would like to ever try yourself"

"the man then got juice in his mouth and started cussing up a storm"

"there were tools everywhere and it took him forever"

So basically watching some vids and trying to understand what I even have here. As of right now I dont even know how to put juice in it. Just wanted to share my vday story and see if anyone had some tips or advice as I start this journey.

Looks easy enough to fill and take apart. Im super excited. Hope he was able to build me a good enough coil that I can vape on it and contemplate the future rebuild for awile.

My favorite atty at the moment. Just make sure you're testing your coils before vaping and it works great at the 1.8ohms you mentioned

Doesnt look too terribly hard. So far the mesh wick wrapped in kanthal with a nice thick hunk of silica wick on top seems to be what people are raving about the most.

Wouldnt ya know they messed it up apparently. Provari reads it at .8 ohms and it was completely flooded when I tried it (would only fire at 2.9v. So I took it apart and they guy didnt pull the outter ring back up around the wick. It looks like he used a tiny little bit of cotton an there wasnt enough to fully cover the massive holes in the side. So then like a fool I fired th button and shot hot juice in my eye. Looks like ill be learning quicker than anticipated. Back to the caro tank for the night

Stay with the rebuilding. It's totally worth it. If your just beginning I would suggest the igo-l. That's what I learned on. So easy, it's hard to get wrong. Before you know it you'll be a pro at it and never look back! Good luck with whatever you choose.

I have the Hcigar Taifun GT, have it set up right now at 1.2 ohms, and I really enjoy it. Definitely one of my favs.
