hey guys. not much point to this post just thought id share a cool story. when i started dating my girlfriend i was already a pack a day smoker. she didn't say anything at first but after a few months she started getting on my back about quitting. one of my best friends was successful at quitting using an ego starter kit and she constantly used that as leverage until i finally bought my first e-cig. so a big thanks to her for getting me into vaping!!! anyways, after a while of vaping i wanted something bigger and better. we live in different states. when school ended all i had was an ego starter kit. about a month and a half later i went up to Massachusetts to visit her and shocked her when i took 3 mods, a VTR, an RDA and like 8 bottles of juice out of my bag. at first she jumped on my back for wasting money and said that all of that was not necessary. she enjoyed an occasional puff off of my ego kit when we were at school so i told her to try out all my different devices. she liked them but still didn't understand my newfound love for all these empty flashlight tubes. as the week progressed she started vaping more and more. i even walked into the kitchen and found her refilling my aspire nautilus. she was doing it completely wrong and i snatched it before she completely flooded the air flow valve but hey it was funny seeing her take such an interest. then she asked me to show her how to do it and kept asking questions about how mods work and how everything works together and how RDAs work and by the end of the night she knew almost as much as i did about the vaping world. she was even a little upset when i was leaving because she wouldn't be able to vape anymore hahaha. as a surprise i mailed her a vision spinner and an aspire BDC tank with extra coils and juice so that she could vape on her own and boy was she excited. i just think its cool that my girlfriend is so interested in vaping. especially because she has never smoked a cigarette before and absolutely hates anything related to drugs or smoking. like i said not much reason for this post, just thought it was a cool story to share with you guys. happy vaping and remember to be grateful for whoever got you into vaping if you didn't get into it on your own!!!:vapor:

Similar story for me - I was about a PAD smoker for YEARS. Tried cig-a-likes off and on (mostly off) over the past few years, and this February, decided one more try. Got a bunch of blank cartridges and bottled juices to check out. My S.O. (never smoked) loved the smell of some of my flavors. Wanted to try. Really enjoyed it. We went shopping and got a couple Vision Spinners and a K1000 mech pipe. We both remembered our dads and their pipe tobacco smell. Found a B&M that mixed a custom juice that mimicked the cherry almond flavor. Heaven. I've since added VV3s and MVP2s. Just ordered my first kayfun clone, and may be looking for a bigger PV later this year.

I'm more the chain vaper. She's an occasional "tooter". Haven't had a cigarette in almost 3 months, and way happy for it.

Way to go - enjoy the vape :vapor:

I have mixed feelings about stories such as this. Encouraging someone who never smoked, to get into vaping, is not a story I want publicized. In the long run it won't do anything but hurt our cause -- even if it's 0 nicotine. Vaping is a wonderful way to get off cigarettes, but it's still a habit. And it's not a habit I wish to encourage non-smokers to adopt. Just something to think about.:2c:

Man... you will regret about it:D. Do you even closely imagine how much it gona cost you now? I wish to see your face when your house will be filled up with "ugly pink" EGO's:D
I'm sure it's nice filling when your other half shares your interests, but i hate when this other half take my gear and do what ever hell with it (including pink sparkly nail polish decorating over your Provary:D)

If my man only cud imagine how much my vaping cost to me, i wouldn't be vaping anymore, because i will be just dead

I used to feel the same way as you. However my daughter (an 18 yr/old non-smoker at the time) convinced me to think otherwise.

All of her friends were smokers, including her BF and older brother. While sitting around hanging out together, they would be smoking and my daughter felt left out with nothing to do. Perhaps call it peer pressure, but at that age it can be a real thing. She didn't want to begin smoking, so she asked for her own vape setup for her birthday, to use zero-nick flavors. Recalling that was the age that I began smoking under similar circumstances, I decided that if I could do anything to help my daughter to not start a cigarette habit, perhaps vaping would be a much safer alternative to smoking.

Since she has begun vaping zero-nicotine flavors a year ago her BF, brother, and a couple of her friends have begun vaping too, to STOP smoking. Her influence has converted smokers into non-smokers.

Vaping has not become a daily habit for her. She only does it recreationally with her friends, so I guess you would call her a social vaper.

You can argue nite & day about whether zero nicotine vaping for non-smokers is right or wrong. As long as people are adults they should have the right to choose what they do.
