Ok I'm going to give this a shot! We have a lot of new shops popping up all around us that can only mean that we have a lot of local vapers. How 'bout we all get together and dip our tips into each others juices (you know what I mean). Anyway please post here if you have interest in a get together and if we get enough responses we'll get this thing rolling!

Alright Scottibones! I am so ready for this!!! Have been for ages! Like you said, with all the B&M stores around, I KNOW there have to be a bunch of vapers in the area, and I find it hard to believe they don't know about ECF! Come on peeps, lets all get together and have some fun, share knowledge, make new friends, get support, whatever you need or want, it's always better together! I have a friend that owns a restaurant in Ft. Myers if we get stuck for a place to host this, but we are open to suggestions. Right now we are just trying to find out who is interested...so if you or anyone you know would be, please sign in and we'll keep you posted as to any new info. Every place else in Florida has meets, why are we lagging? C'mon, let's have some fun!

Yeah, and that's about as far as it ever gets! It's crazy cuz I KNOW there are a ton of vapers around, but where are they? I dunt understand!!!

Ugh this is very discouraging maybe the 4 of us should just meet at a local B&M and go from there.

It is discouraging! I think you probably have the best idea Scott. Pick a B&M you really like and tell them what we want to do. If they are okay with it, find out from them what would be a good time, etc. and see if it would be okay to put up a flyer for their customers letting them know there is going to be a meet. I can do that if you want, once you get the okay. I don't drive so I hope you don't mind picking a place. I could get a ride of course, especially to the Lehigh place, but not too familiar with the others yet. I think I read somewhere there's Facebook pages for meets too, I'll see if I can find any info and get back to ya. We will get some people to go if we have to rip them out of their recliners dammit! LOL! Keep posting here to bump it to the top!!!

I think if you build it they will come - I also know a few vapers down that way that aren't on ECF. If you plan a meetup, I'll wrangle a few folks to join.

I do suggest somewhere that has food/beverage available to order if you want folks to be able to hang/chat. I've been to a couple meetups in vape stores and well....to be honest, not as much fun as somewhere you can sit/chat/etc...plus don't have to feel bad about pulling out juice/mods from other vendors ROFL! Perhaps there is a shop with food/drink nearby one of these vape shops so people could shop & then hang?? Too bad Vapin' in Cape moved cuz Backstreets was right by there and it's vape/smoke friendly (and a fun place to boot). I don't know the area very well so I'm useless for planning down that way but my GPS works

The first meetup I went to there were only a handful of people and those meets have grown quite a bit. The first one might be small but I'd bet if you get the ball rolling - they will grow.

Plan a darn meet and if it isn't on same weekend as the Suncoast meet - I'll drive down and I promise to poke some others to show as well. Let's do this!!

DementED hasn't shown up here yet, but I know if he can, he will come. My son lives in the Disney area but if he knew about it in advance he may come down. I also have a neighbor that I v-verted until he heard about the exploding mod and that scared the crap out of him. (I had given him my old 510!!! Ooo, scary!) I'm hoping I can get him re-interested, we'll see. It made me so mad cuz he was really enjoying it too. I'm sure that little bit of bad publicity lost vaping miles in the strides it was making. Sucks. Oh well. Anyway, Laurel, bless your heart, thank you for your help and offer to join in too! You are a sweetie!
Classy so sorry to hear about your Charlie, That is so sad. I can relate though, I lost a beloved pet in a similar way. The messed up thing is from another room I initially just thought she was playing...rolling around on the floor. I was devastated. Pets are family, and especially when you've lived together for 30 years!
Lets hope a few more peeps see this and respond! Whether or not they do, we will do it anyway!

I will be getting off midnight shift in a couple weeks that will give me Thu, Fri, and Sat off. Sat night would be bad as I need to be at work 6 am Sun morning. How about everyone else what works for you?

I am totally flexible, any day or time works for me. No wait, that's not entirely true...I don't do mornings! But other than that, I'm good.

Not a morning person either and weekend or Friday evenings be easiest for me to get down that way. Either way - plan one even if only a handful and let the seed start to grow IMHO
