The gus 22 so much work to make it good

So I got a Gus 22 and after reading about replacing the spring post with just a brass post it works great now. However my plan is to run it with a kick and a short did at about 1.5 ohms and 9 watts. Now the problem! The battery goes in upside down is this normal? cant find any info about that is this safe? would i put the kick on the bottom? help would be wonderful ty

If you wanna fit kick you can place the battery by follow the specifications of your kick
