I had no idea that this would turn into such a fun addictive hobby. I started vaping at the end of 2013, starting with a CE4 blister kit. Having a desire to bring more variety into the process, as well as having various flavors in different tanks, I then picked up another Ego type battery, the Vision spinner 1300 mAh and a Kanger T3. Within two weeks, I picked up an iTaste 134 and a couple more tanks, the Protank 3 and the Protank Mini. I gave the blisterkit battery to a friend that was using the traditional e-cig cartomizer to get him started and he ended up getting a Protank mini as well. I am now wanting to start into the mechanicals and re-buildables, so today I purchased a Nemesis and a Kayfun 3.1 from the local shop, who has been very helpful throughout this timeframe.

I suppose my impulsive behavior is still there, but I need to sit back and enjoy this.

Has anyone else turned into a vaping freak? I think I know the answer...:2cool:

(Trying to get my 5 post limit so I can post elsewhere in here, but this forum does have lots of info :D )

Hahaha. Yeah, that's a lot of us. Just tonight I had to migrate my vaping supplies from an old cigar box to a much larger, compartmentalized mobile carrying case. Next, it'll be a mobile travel case and a home case. I've set in stone that vaping will not get it's own room. ;) Don't even know what I'm going to do when I jump into DIY juice.

I'm pretty happy with my current gear, but will add a mech down the road. Maybe a really good APV, too. I think it balances out at some point. At least for most people.

Welcome to ECF! (P.S. Your post count is all replies. Encourage a few folks on here and you'll be up there in no time.)

Better to ask who hasn't :D

Well over a year after quitting cigarettes I can say this is standard. Tip though: learn as much as you can about batteries before you even think about putting a mechanical mod near your face. Lithium batteries are batteries in name only. They are potential explosive and very dangerous if used without adequate knowledge. Don't ever buy a battery with a "fire" in it's name. Before you buy a battery buy a vapesafe fuse and don't sub-ohm for a while if at all. There is much to learn take your time :)

There are plenty of toys to be acquired. Those Kayfuns are advanced items, I hear, so get some specific help with it. The nemesis should be messed with, like I mentioned, without some battery knowledge.

^ very well put. it took me 3 years to get to the point of just bearly sub-ohming happily. granted most of that time there weren't options for it. I found my comfort zone is a .8-1.0 ohm single coil build, I can and have built quad coils with much lower ohm's but found the flavor was missing and wasn't at all what i expected it to be. For about the first year I built 1.2-1.5ohm coils and was happy there. It's all about finding your happy vape place with in your comfort zone. Don't do it cause all the cool vapers are doing it!

Thanks for the advice! No doubt about the batteries. Went to non-protected IMR's today with a deep respect. I chucked the spent cheapies.

The Kayfun was very tasty even with the supplied wick and coil, but I am curious about building my own.

Im obsessed! Quit the smokes beginning of last month and have already upgraded from an ego setup to an SVD! constantly searching this forum and vape venders online for my next purchase! I have my eyes on the nemesis already! I'm the same with everything though. If Im into something and I enjoy it I have to know all about it and have the best kit.

A source of harm or ruin..... to my wallet! (definition of nemesis)
