I ordered one of these from fasttech a couple weeks ago and it finally showed up the other day. Yeah, it's a clone, but the original is a blatant rip-off of the Taifun which seems to get a pass because it's made in Sweden and costs $180. (If ever an atomizer deserved to be cloned......)

Anyway, it's turned out to be a great purchase. Overall, nicely machined and clean when it arrived. Great flavor and respectable airflow. I've had no wicking or leaking issues with it. Unlike the original, it also comes with an SS tank included in the kit.

I think it's a looker too.

It is a single coil rta, and I'm currently running a 3mm, 7 spaced wraps of 27ga and I've been enjoying it around 25-30 Watts.

I have had one for 4 weeks now. I really like it. Easy to coil and wick. Nice flavor. No leaks. Definitely a keeper but FT needs to get some replacement tanks for it. I have another on order. Only problem that I have had is the AFC is very stiff although once set it does not need to be changed.

enjoy! I love my authentic...;)

bit jealous about the steel tank though...:( lol!

Could get a whole atty for the price of a e-pheonix steel tank...In fact, i ordered a FT steel tank just to see if it fits...:)

Quick question...

Should the chimney cap have an o-ring above the threads like the Taifun? Mine doesn't, but it doesn't seem to be causing a problem. I thought maybe I washed it down the drain this evening.
Mine either and have had no issues. I have a Tobeco and the Fasttech model with the spare tank. They quickly became one of my favorite tanks along side my UTA.

Still using mine daily. Fantastic flavor from this one.

I expect if it came out a year ago, there'd be a lot more buzz. But being single coil and not having tailpipe like air flow, it's it's gone largely unnoticed.

How is the air flow compared to like a Lemo or something? Thanks

Just got my Tobeco clone today cleaned up easy with dish soap and couple of rinses. machining are all good ,but the tank is light weight weak threads so I will try to find a better tank . very easy to build, afc works good flavor is great. now to see if it floods or leaks over the next couple of days

The plastic tank itself or some other thread is weak?

I have had some issues with this leaking thru the AFC. Will be fine for a while and then it starts to leak about half way thru the tank. Anyone else have this problem. I have it wicked like any taifun and have replaced the wick a number of times. Is there any tricks to wicking it? I absolutely love this one for flavor. I have it wicked with 28g, 6 wraps 2mm.

I wick it by leaving the tails long enough to touch the bottom of the deck, then tuck the tails down so that the shoulders of the wick are sitting behind the openings for juice flow. Just leave them lightly butted up against the openings. Wicks awesome this way, and I've never had a drop of leaking from it.

This is a pic of my KS RTA, but the idea is exactly the same:

I have the same problem got mine from Kanvape, got the TFV4 mini too but it has problems with leaking because of weak o-rings. going to play with the Hurricane tomorrow

IMO 2mm coil diameter is to small for the hurricane, pls make 2.5mm or 3mm coil and leakage disappear, for safety and lq bufor you can also put some piece of cotton at the bottom of the chamber.

I will give this a try. I have a KS that I wick exactly like that and have no issues with leaking from that.

I changed out the orings. Tried bigger ones as well but that did not work because you need to get the chimney pushed down. That did not solve the problem. I am sure that it is caused by leaking into the air holes due to excess liquid coming into the chamber.
