There is nothing more sad than a group of Christians bickering over trival church doctrine, and Scriptures. It gives such an awful witness to the unsaved. Like my denomination doesn't believe in alcohol. Nothing could be plainer that wine in the Bible was fermented. In my opinion, a tody for the body doesn't hurt anyone. I don't drink because I'm on medication and I don't want to wake up dead. I am not going to push my beliefs on you, even witnessing. Jesus wasn't pushy. He was solid with the money changers. In public, I talk about the Lord. I am rather bold.....even if I only say, "Have a blessed day," to someone I've been talking to. Some people's witness is by example only. My mother-in-law has the gift of giving. She witnesses by example. The Lord gave me a mouth. I might as well use it. (That's why I find myself with both feet in my mouth!)

I don't have the gift of tongues. I know others that do have it. People say that the churches are full of hypocrits and there are those who are. But as my pastor says, "I'd rather go to church with them than to hell with them." We need to stand straight and strong for Jesus. We need to unify to help others in any way we can. There are many people reading these threads that don't post. They know this world is spinning out of control. There's more interest incognito than in many of the other groups. There is such a great group of people in here posting...........loving people who have the love of Jesus in their hearts. It's obvious! We are in the end times. People need Jesus before it's too late. We need each other to lift one another up to the Lord for help and comfort. We need to pray for each other as prayer is such a powerful weapon that satan can't invade. satan can't hurt God, so he hurts those that God loves. I realize we are suppose to rejoice when we have troubles.........I haven't conquered that yet. I am working toward being the person that when my feet hit the floor, satan says, "Oh no. She's up." I have a long way to go, but that's my goal.

I'm not complaining, but there are 3 times the things I can no longer do versus the things I can do. I do suffer from depression from time to time. Please remember me in prayer and I will do the same for you. Have a blessed night! :)

Will be praying for you. :)
God can make everything better!
All you have to do is pray and he'll listen.

Thank you all! God does listen and helps me everyday. I have had so may prayers answered that it just humbles me. I even ask Him for a good parking place as many disabled people are everywhere! He always gets me a good spot so I won't have to walk so far. He also makes spots open for me to get on the interstate as He knows I'm not very good at that anymore.

I have gone a little past 3 years without tobacco. Yeah! All of those cigarettes are a thing of the past. Every once in awhile, it looks good on tv. Have you noticed that there are more and more people smoking on camera? I look at that and think, "man, I wouldn't go back to filling my lungs up with that heavy tobacco smoke. Can you believe it's been 3 years and once in awhile it STILL can look good? Can you say, "satan is STILL alive and well on planet earth?" That is a title of one of Hal Lindsey's books. Had cataract surgery yesterday on my right eye.........such an easy procedure. AND my eye doctor had good drugs to calm my nerves.....lets face it......it's my EYE! I now have 20/20 in my right eye and can't wait to have the other one done. And, he slits my eye and places a new lens in. I haven't seen 20/20 since I was a kid. Then he puts microscopic stitches in. I'll still have to use reading glasses, but other than that, my vision will be 20/20. WOW, medicine is amazing!
