I'd been hearing about them on the radio, you know the one that said try it for free, while I knew that was a scam but was interested in the the e-cig because I really wanted to quit smoking so I started looking into them on the internet, so many different one's came up and it was confusing for me because I did'nt know a thing about them, I decided to buy one from a smoke shop here in town, an Electra, at first I love it but a week later both batteries quit working soo I went on line and contacted Steve at V4L, talked to him on the phone and he set me up in the right direction, thank goodness, 808's are the only batts I use, different sizes of course but I love them, have'nt had an analog since Oct 2009 and really never want one again.

I heard of a (e cig) idea device a long long time ago, late 80's early 90's might of been the one the tabacco companys had tried... but no one really liked it.. It was just by chance all these years later I decided to check to see if they had any advancements on the idea...

I found smoke anywere first.. and I have no complaints it worked for me well enough to stop smoking and know this would work... 801 was my second model and still is...

I can't remember where I heard about them at first. But there was a space in time before I actually bought one.
My first is complicated. I ordered one off the Internet because I was about to take a trip. It didn’t get here and didn’t get here so I made a panic buy from a tobacco store. It was a Fifty-One.
It was a good thing I did, even though I paid out the ear for it, because the other didn’t arrive until after I got back.

I was reading something on line and saw an ad. I clicked and read about them but didn't want to pay $200.00 for a starter kit x's 2! I looked and researched and still managed to get a smoking everywhere wannabe. But at least she gave me all my money back after a week. By that time I had found ECF and 901's.
My second day with a 901 and I put down analogs for good.

Nag Champa (sp?) reminds me of my very early 20's. I was in love with the scent and burned it all the time. The particular oder of a old slightly musty dusty book reminds me of my dad and his ever growing library. Loves baby soft reminds me of my mom (she used to wear it a lot). Stetson cologne Is such an intense reminder of my first crush that the one time the hubs tried it- I begged him not to ever wear it again 'cause it made me too sad. Creosote is a predominant scent of Sonoran desert rain and we have a candle I found somewhere (No label or anything!) that smells just like "home" .. I only burn it when I'm already missing Tucson.
I'm very smell oriented so- I'll stop the list there otherwise I could be here for hours.

For my DH's 18th birthday I bought him Canon cologne - it smells so good I'll follow anyone who wears it....and I have:blink:

I tracked it down about 12 or so years ago as a surprise gift at Christmas....love, love, love that scent!

I used to wear Color for Men (I hated the women's scent of the same name) - I think it was made by Benneton.

My mom - White Shoulders

Mom currently wears the same as me - Escada - Pacific Paradise. They have a new one out that has patchouli in it- but I haven't had a chance to sniff it.

Tabu - but I can't remember who wore it (back in the 60s)

Brian IS Pierre Cardin..plus 'Brian'. No, I can't explain it, but it's a GOOD thing! When I first met him, (yes, in Grade school...), I used to go into Department stores and spray some on me...sigh...:hubba:

I ALWAYS wear Rive Gauche by Yves St. Laurent. IF I wear anything different, I get all sorts of attitude from everyone. We have friends that have 2 kids. When the little girl was around 2 or so, she crawled up on some woman's lap, announced, "YOU'RE not my Aunty Katharine.." to which the lady responded that no, she wasn't...and Sophie said, "But you SMELL like my Aunty Katharine...why?" I'm sure she was relatively concerned before her mum stepped in and explained things.

My mother is either Caleche by Hermes or Opium by YSL.

I get REALLY uptight if a certain male friend DOESN'T wear his Dolce & Gabbana when we see him. We have a weird 'greeting ritual' of smashing into each other and then taking a huge sniff and screeching 'Ahhhhhh'.

Yes, he's Brian's best friend and yes, he's fine with it. Although, he DID turn the hose on us once....little twit...

Weird, isn't it?

tonights question

what was your most embarassing moment (keep it clean we are in enough trouble!)

Here's one of mine..note I said one of!

I was taking child care classes at my high scgool, we were bringing in the kids toys from outside and I was playing with the kids as I did it. No body bothered to tell me that the school yearbook photographer was there. This appeared in my H.S. yearbook. I still gety asked about it 41 years later!

Homeish now
Clean....clean one Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (thinks real hard...are you sure I got some great dirty ones)
Oh I know...

Boot camp graduation!
In the middle of the presentation...we are marching around an arena, it's noisy crowds all gibbering...I miss a turn call. Rest of the division goes left, I just keep marching straight.
All on my own.
About the time I'm a step away from running into the crowd (them all staring at me funny was a hint) I'm wondering why we havnt turned...I see that my division is way over there.
Ooops, I have to run to catch up with them.

Now you would think that would be enough embarrassment for One event right, few thousand folks watching live.......

But no thats not enough....it's now a Official Navy blooper. Someone got it on video and it's included in a "dont be this person" training video.
Which, my hubby saw years later when He went to bootcamp.
I got a letter from him.."well dear, I saw you today. You didnt mention YOUR graduation to me..............."

Let's see- when my DH and I were dating (I was still in High School and he was done) - we had been scurrying around buying Christmas gifts and his little brother wanted the Rock-em Sock-em Robots. They were very hard to find - they flew off the store shelves. Well one night we "let in on" when a shipment would be arriving and we managed to get this toy. Wanting to make sure it was complete and not broken we decided we should take it out of the box (after purchase) - we had gone to a park near my house - parked and proceeded to unpack the toy and assemble for playing to make sure their heads actually popped up - it was now dark and we're playing with this toy - suddenly there's a flashlight looking into the car - the officer was expecting hanky-panky - instead found a 15 and 18 year old playing Rock-em Sock-em Robots!

Oh..I gots PLENTY!! :w00t:

Hmm, Brian's best friend is a wing-nut. (No surprise there..). He runs up behind me, in front of A LOT of people, and dumps a full bucket of water over my head. Yup, he's a dead man. So, off I go..I'm right on his heels and someone yells, "Kath! NOOOOOOOO!!"

Naturally, I'm confused. Why would they be yelling 'no'? I'm RIGHTTHERE! Oh, they must've yelled GO!! Yes, that's it!!

Nope! They WERE yelling 'no' and THAT was because of his habit of zipping around a corner and stopping DEAD in his tracks right around the corner. So, I go zipping around the bend and run into a 6'3 inch WALL. I, to keep everyone reminded, am 5'3 and weigh in at an impressive 98 pounds.

So..yeah.

Humm I, too have plenty. But MOST are inappropriate.. like the time I got a young man to say aloud certain parts of his anatomy glo.... never mind.

Ok. I have a tendency to not only put my foot in my mouth, but mispronounce words or get them wrong completely. In my early 20's I was trying to remember the name of the kind of screwdriver with the + sign end (Can't remember it now, lol!) And asked my mom to hand me the "Welches" Screw driver. We've made a mixed drink out of the name.
