I'm just going to let the cat out of the bag right now and share my idea for a new kind of juice delivery device to get some feedback. It's going to be built as soon as my parts arrive. I'll be attaching it to a 901 atomizer with a battery box.
The idea:
Take one of those small (2-4ml) refillable perfume tester pump bottles, and modify the sprayer with a 2mm rubber hose that feeds directly through a hole in the cart housing and into the cart wadding. Pumping will refill the wadding, "topping" it off. Not really dripping, but it should be just like it. Cart filling could possibly be removed so you would have a "true" drip.
Foreseeable problems:
1. On those little pumps, I'm not sure if they have an air valve that opens when the pump is released or if it pulls air back through the sprayer. Pulling air (or in this case juice) back through the sprayer would be bad. If so, this could probably be remedied with a small one-way air inlet on the bottle.
2. Pump volume - one pump might spray too much liquid. This can probably be adjusted with modding.
3. Leaking/flooding - I won't know about this until I make it.
The second idea:
Same setup as above, but no pump. Nothing but a sealed bottle with a hose that would feed the cart through wicking. An air inlet on the bottle would be mandatory on this setup. Could be prone to leaking/flooding, if it even works.
Thoughts?
