The Legend by Sigelei at Varitube

sigelei brings us a new device with some interesting features. First it is NOT an Evic. Its an all stainless steel body with a full feature OLED featuring Haptic Feedback when entering the menu functions. Thats right! Very similar to Android devices this mod uses motion to enter the menu and vibrations to provide feedback to the user the state of the settings. Its easy to use. They call it the Gravity Sensing System ... but its motion sensing and haptic feedback.
We're talking the finest in machining we have seen from Sigelei to date. The removable top cap is a thing of beauty.

This unit has the following features:

• Adjust Voltage 3.0V to 6.0V in 0.1V increments
• Adjust Power 3.0W to 15W in 0.1 Watt increments
• 5A Output Limit
• OLED Displays in a heads up fashion Resistance of your atty in Ohms, Power or Voltage setting, the length of your vape in seconds, and a battery indicator
• Short Circuit Protection
• Low Resistance Protection below 1.2ohms
• Low Voltage Protection below 3.4V
• Native EGO 510 & EGO connection
• Defaulted RMS Setting

- Body comes with 2 Stainless Tubes...for 18650 or a single18350

- Included USB adapter for mobile charging of USB devices such as cell phone
While holding the unit horizontal a mild shaking in a sweeping motion left and right while pressing the main button will enable the menu ... the unit will vibrate. Now you can press the button to cycle through the menu's. When you get to the menu of choice hold the unti vertical and then leaning the device left or right which change the setting. When setting is reached you again hold down the main button and shake the unit left and right until you feel it vibrate. Thats it! Its very simple, quick, and effective.

It is quite simply..............amazing. I received mine today and I am more than pleased with it. It is so sleek looking and even though I am not an advanced vaper by any means, I can feel the quality. The only thing that surpasses the exceptional quality of this PV is the customer service I received from Varitube. I would highly recommend both. Thank you.

I've been using mine for a little over a week now and I am still in love with it. If I had find something wrong with it, I will say the button works beautifully but it does have a little rattle to it and when I press it 5 times to turn it off the coils crackle for a couple of seconds. I don't think this is a big deal but don't know. You have to really give it a good shake to put it into settings but very little to exit settings. Again I don't know if this is normal. I would also like to learn a bit more about watts. I know I am not vaping at full capacity. But I seem to be content at 6 watts and 3.7 volts. Handles everything I put on it. I know Busardo recommends 8 watts and 4.2 volts. But anyway, I am still very pleased with my first major upgrade and still trying to learn about them. Still singing the praises of Varitube too.

I think I really want one to go with my eVic, anyone know how they compare against each other? I hope it will be on sale for BF/CM, since I'm already out the cost of a defective VTR from a crappy seller! Otherwise, it will probably have to wait until after Christmas

its a well done mod...really is. Machining, fit, and finish is top notch. The full display is super nice.

I do wish it had both volt and watt settings on the front instead of the length of my draw. That is not real helpful info unless I am miss understanding something. I still don't know why the coils crackle when you turn it off but all else is top notch. I thought the puff count was a waste of time but I find myself looking at it and I have even kept a chart of how many puffs a battery charge. (yes I think I may have OCD)

Well when in Power/Wattage mode the voltage is adjusted behind the scenes to match you atty resistance. If you change your atty to a different resistance the unit with make the change to voltage to hold the wattage the same. In Voltage mode you will have to make that adjustment each time if you were to change the atty resistance.

Hope that makes sense....but thats the real advantage of running in Power mode.....set it and forget.

I handle all sorts of mods and the quality of this is really and honestly 2nd to none. Its not an exaggeration......it is crazy well done. Yes the shaking is different but for all the reviewers out there they just need to grow up and focus on how it actually works, the performance, and the quality of the unit. I haven't seen one more well done with this kind of quality.

Well when in Power/Wattage mode the voltage is adjusted behind the scenes to match you atty resistance. In Voltage mode you will have to make that adjustment each time if you were to change the atty resistance.

Thank you. I like the idea of just setting it and forgetting it. I'm not the "Shake-n-toot" type. PBusardo recommends 8 watts. I have been running 6 and have been pleased. What do you recommend? Thanks again.
