The liquid that you used to "STOP" smoking!

I was messing around on my friend's computer one day and he had a vape pen on the desk. I tried it and was like wow, if I could get something that tasted like this, I could probably switch.

It was a liquid called "Coconut Twist." Tasted like Coconuts with a hint of lime and sweetness with a nice smooth throat hit. They sold it for 50 cents per ML at a local shop. I googled the shop's site, and found out they were selling Top Vapor brand flavorings.

So I ordered the same juice from Madvapes (Top Vapor Brand), and it was very, very close, but not the same. After going through about 60ml of that juice, it really just started tasting nasty to me. Now that same juice tastes like disinfectant to me, and I'm about to throw the stuff away.

Is it because my taste buds are finally back? Not sure, but I do credit it for helping me quit smoking. I still have like 5ml left of the vape shop version, so maybe I'll try it again one day and confirm.

Just like many before me, I swore that I wanted a liquid with a very strong "cigaretty" taste to stop smoking. I decided to buy 7 different tobacco flavors from Caterpillar Vapes, the U.S Hangsen distributor. I give Caterpillar props, my order was tracking in the mail within two hours of placing it.

Anyway, everything I have read says the "Turkish Blend" is the strongest of the Hangsen tobacco flavors, with zero sweet taste. I had no desire for sweets in my vaping. I can tell you right now, this stuff is powerful medicine at 18mg! I take 10 or 15 hits and I have no desire for a cigarette; I am not sure if I could smoke one if I tried. Seriously, this stuff will put hair on your ....!

Let me hear what liquid you used to finally get off the coffin nails.

My first e liquid was Hangsen Reno from Madvapes. Recently they changed it somehow and now tastes like burnt plastic! Do you know of an Authorized Vendor for Hangsen? I see you bought from Caterpillar Vapes, I thought they were just a B&M with an online store? If you could give me some info I would really appreciate it!

It was Zen Juice, made by a local small chain, Vape Dojo, in the Balto/Wash area. 5 bucks a 15ml bottle. A fruity juice, I hadn't vaped any since last fall when I started DIY. Honeydew, I think, but other fruits. They call it a fruit medley. That was the juice I picked after I decided that finding something that tasted like the Tajoe Menthol's I'd been smoking for years, or the Newport/Salems of my youth, wasn't what I wanted to do.

Going from "I want it to taste like a cig" to "I want it to taste like anything but a cig" was a huge step for me.

I think I quit smoking on Bobas Bounty from Alien Visions, and Wisconsin Frost by Johnson Creek.

Back in 2012, not many vendors carried high VG.

My first order though was Halo Tribeca. I thought it tasted like sewing machine oil. Since then I have found Halo flavors I really like, but his was not one, plus they are higher PG.

Dekang 555. It also happened to be the WORST e-liquid I have EVER tasted. I vaped the whole thing (30ml), occasionally thinking whether all e-liquids taste like burned tar and almonds.

I used Halo's Freedom juice.... 12mg. I've tried it again and it tastes like pine cleaner to me now lol.... I much prefer Tribeca or strawberry cream....

I used to smoke a pack of Marlboro Red 100's a day. The first e-liquid I have ever tried got me to stop smoking which at the time was in house made 24mg Jolly Rancher Watermelon that I had picked up when I was living in West TN.

Since then I had smoked a few analogs but now that im able to afford decent equipment I would say a 24mg Jamaican Rum has kept me off the analogs.

I still have the bottle, BlueMist Vaping Liquid. Maple Pancake..PG 80.10ml 16 mg Extra flavor date February 2012 I will never get rid of this bottle. In the A.M. with a cup of coffee, on my Volt with a carto.....WOW..just great.

V2 Cigs Platinum menthol mixed half and half with V2 Cigs Platinum Peppermint. Both 24mg. they were what came with my V2 Series 3 Pro Vape pen. I will be forever grateful to V2 for getting me off analongs, but i sure wish I'd gotten off V2 a lot sooner. It would've saved me an awful lot of money and irritation.

I was still hitting analogs and nicotine lozenges in there. It was ordering a 30 ml bottle of Durasmoke Menthol mint in 24mg from AEL that finally got me off the analogs entirely. It was the last of three V2 vape pens dying and V2 giving me a hard time about honoring their warranty that got me into real vaping and i haven't looked back.

Same here. Wisconsin Frost. I was a JC fangirl then and I still am. I've moved on to other gear and I've branched out in flavors, but I keep Wisconsin Frost around for nostalgia.

I got a v2 cigs kit in the mail... opened it up and never touched a cig again. I loved the v2 red flavor, as I smoked marb reds. I still occaisonally will pick up a pack of v2 red cartos if I see them at a gas station, screw one on to my white v2 auto batt and vape away.
