I am military and thought of a stealth vape idea as I get frequently harassed about vaping and its as if I have the quitter mentality because I gave up smoking and I dont want my precious GG's to get ruined in the field. What I came up with was to take a .50 cal machine gun round and polish it up all good ( that was the easy part). Next I have ordered a bulled shaped drip tip to use. I figured I could use a small joytech ego battery and take it apart and house it in the .50 cal round. I figure just use a cheap atomizer or maybe an phoenix rebuildable to save $ in long run. I want to keep it looking as stealthy as possible and I am trying to figure how to make it look just like an actual round. I need to make a way to remove the bottom of the mod to slide everything in and out. I figure the pin can be removed for ventilation. Lastly just how to fire the ecig as the button is on the side of the ego model batteries. Please comment with ideas or offer help.
Thanks

Here is the round and the phoenix atomizer that I have in mind. Still waiting on the drip tip and how I am going to make the ego fit inside. Also where to cut the round to make a bottom housing as I am new to modding. :2cool:

I just looked up the .50 BMG Case specs.

Do you have any friends in the machine shop?

Just off the hip it looks the 50 BMG would almost work perfect for an 18650 mechanical bottom fire mod or 18490/18500 kicked mod. But I just realized the ID is 0.680" or 17.272mm so the 18mm batteries are out.

I like carto's for reliability and no worry use. Regardless of the atomizer I think with some machining you could have a very scale .50 BMG mod, you might even be starting a trend.

Can't wait to see how it turns out!

How about doing what was done with the one that JR Custom Turnings used to sell?

THE EFFIN 50 CAL MOD - YouTube
REVIEW OF THE 50 CAL ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE - YouTube

Watched the videos and some good ideas. Definitely looks like a 18650 mod now for sure. Need to secure some extra brass casings and a few attachments for my dremel and see how to make a bottom cap that can be removed and look at venting and a button. Whats gonna be fun is digging out my old soldering iron.

Where oh where to find some good innards to use to hold batteries and switches, never bought any.
I have an old VV box that could get interesting...

could always try 14500s. It's what the old PureSmoker Icons used.

That or if you could find someone who has an old icon, that thing would fit almost perfectly inside a 50cal round.
