Can you easly drill out the air holes or is there something blocking it? How does the air flow compair to an aqua?

I have never used an Aqua so can't comment on that, there is no reason why you couldnt drill it out , you can see the ring with the air holes in the review and there is nothing but where the threads start/end to limit that.

I need this. for the bottom setup, is it the same type of thing as the kayfun's setup? trying to grasp the concept. and how much juice does the tank hold in the bottom mode?

Its a lot harder to build than the kayfun but can be very rewarding if you put the time in to learn how to do it.
I have to be honest , I never measured the capacity sorry , about the same as a stock kayfun lite as an estimate.

Scruffy coiling work but, you get the idea.

Here's what I came up with. I got bored tonight and instead of waiting on my new shipment of kanthal I used the 32 gauge I had. I built a twisted 32 gauge dual coil. Six wraps each on a 3/32 drill but. Came out to 0.8ohms
