I've been looking forward to seeing this movie. I heard an interview with Christian Bale on how he prepared for this role. He said that he read the Torah, the Bible and many other insights on Moses. He was asked by the interviewer if he included watching Charlton Heston's rendition in 'The 10 Commandments.' He answered, "Most definitely!" I read a blurb about Hollywood being upset that Africian Americans weren't plentiful in this movie. The movie was about Egyptians and Hebrews......be fair, Hollywood!! But then again, it's Hollywood and many people think they walk on water.
If anyone goes and sees this movie, I'd like an honest critique. I wanted to go last night but husband came down with another cold. Noah was such a great disappointment! We watched it once it came out on DVD. If this movie is on the up and up, we need to support it! Go during the weekend and the matinee will be cheaper than going during the evening. We should support good Christian movies at the theatre. It sends a message to Hollywood that we are tired of the junk they are putting out. Here, 'The Passion' was held over three times, I think, not expecting the crowds that flocked to the theatres.
Lets do our part on this, if we can.
