I will add this to the PVMA thread later for more reference.

For those making their own adapters,(regular or RCA) this will come handy and will make them much more reliable because you will not need to use soldering or wires.

sports ball inflation needle.

It fits tight in the battery/atomizer center hole.

There is an extra bonus in using this since many have the problem with some atomizers that don't make a solid connection to the battery.
You can cut the needle longer so it sticks out from the battery connector as you can see on the adapter on the top of this pic.

The solution many of us used is posted on a sticky (staple mod), with this you don't need it anymore I hope.

I added a small length, (1/4 inch or less) to my mini pipe so any 801 atty would make a good contact.

And this is how I use it for adapters.

Hope it helps.

Link to pin - I used the barrel part of of the pin, where the color banding is. Cut off the actual contact, and pushed the barrel down through the 801 battery connector to make contact with the RCA plug end. Simultaneous sealing and enhanced connection, win-win!!

I had them laying around from a mil-spec cable making kit - your solution is better, I think, since you can make several pins from one inflation needle, while the milspec pin is a one shot.
