Hi all had a few things to ask and a few things to say.
Kind of odd to be stuck in the new guys area reminds me of being forced to sit a the children's table
when you were 14...

Well anyway, I am an old smoker trying to giv up the cigs I have an ego T got a 2 pack with case and all for 20 on ebay.

It seems to work ok, but what do I know.

I have my first e juice from Kalamazoo shop, the juice is not bad it is the OMFG tobacco. Not that I would describe it that way.

Now I will tell you that I am not buying from them again for the sheer foolishness of sending to a person ordering tobacco/STRONG a sample of "striped chewing gum 0 nic. ... really rather than sending another tobacco sample.

Now we all know other than air and even that is not so good any more, inhaling stuff is bad for you.

The idea that they wish to encourage kids to vape "Candy" with no purpose is to me like camel doing the whole Cool Joe camel BS.

Question if they can make juice that tastes just like frigging gum, then why is it so hard to mimic the taste and burn of a real cig?

I see all of the descriptions, how it tastes like tobacco or how close, why is that?

All right then I will leave you now to go roll and thrash in the dirt for awhile.

its hard to even know what tobacco is supposed to taste like since we wrap it in paper, slap a filter on it, and burn it for smoking. ive vaped plenty of green in my day but never tried to vape tobacco leaves.

even if you gave me a 100% "identical to tobacco" eliquid i probably wouldnt recognize it

however, an "identical to smoking a cigarette" eliquid....now that would be something

Hmmmm. Makes me wonder. Aren't cigars tobacco rolled in tobacco leaves?? Not that I smoke cigars but I've seen them rolled in Ybor City, Florida. No paper there.

Well I'm back I really gave the dirt a got thrashing.

The ideal for me would be an analog shape weight length rechargeable vaporizer.

I have several of the ones sold OTC, fin, mistic, Njoy the fin had the best taste but to thick and heavy with the hard mouth pc.
The mistic was ok but to weak in taste.
The Njoy was closest to what I wanted but for it being to weak in taste. But the sharp and all including the soft tip was just the kind of thing that will let me BS myself into I've got my smoke. I have tried adding e juice to them and it does work, but when the battery goes it is all over.
Of course these are ridiculously expense.

Well that is all I have telephone poles to go yell at.

I found pretty quick that I find comfort in the "contraption" factor. I DO NOT want to smoke any more so the less it reminds me of smoking, the better. I found a juice that was pretty close to a Marb (USA RED) so it went to someone else. I vape sweets to remind me that vaping, unlike smoking, can smell and taste good. Smelling a freshly lit cigarette smells pretty damn good still, but smelling someone who just put out a cigarette is a pretty quick reminder of the downsides of smoking. Once I convinced my brain that it wanted nicotine, not a cigarette, life got pretty easy for me vaping.

As a Christian, I found the above to be extremely offensive, so I clicked off of your post without a comment. Then I thought better of it, as you do need beginner advice, just like I did and like everyone else.

I smoked for 42 years. After my mom died of lung cancer, yes she was a smoker, I thought that should make me quit. But it didn't. My smoking got out of control, leaving all kinds of burns in the carpet beside my bed. I had become dangerous. Not long after, my smoker's cough sounded exactly like my mom's. For the first time in my smoking career, I asked God for help. He sent me an e-cig commercial. I didn't realize that they were invented. We fast forward through commercials. I joined this board and kept seeing where people would get their kit and never look back. This website was a God-send!

I eventually got my kit with a liquid that was supposed to mimic Salems. Oh my word! It was disgusting! Luckily, I'd ordered a small variety of menthol liquids. After 2 1/2 days, I found that I could cut my intake of cigarettes down to 2. That's when I laid them down for good. Was it a piece of cake afterwards? No. It looked sooooooo good on tv. I missed them....alot, but I kept recomitting myself to quitting. I just couldn't see myself going back and then starting all over again. I wasn't one of those people who vaped and never looked back. What I did find alarming was the quantity of cigarettes I wasn't smoking! It wasn't so much the money I was saving, it was the quantity I was saving my body from. It got easier over time. I will celebrate 4 years this July. I recently had a friend stay for a few days recently, and she smokes. It wasn't disgusting, but I knew I never wanted to do that again. I refuse to put smoke back into my lungs. I still use a menthol blend, and that works for me.

You can do this! It's not like smoking cigarettes, but I'm happy with it. If I choose to cut nicotine mg's, I will. If not, I won't. From what I understand, nicotine is only dangerous when burned. I pray you stay the course. Don't give up....stick with this website and you will reach success!

Welcome to the new guy. My advice is to try lots of samples. You probably will not replace the cig taste...but may actually find something you like as much or better. Yeah, it may even be bubblegum or fruit loops, or something weird...but that's the twilight zone, rabbit hole your in now Good luck!

Here is a thing with the e cigs that I thought was odd /interesting.
Some of them have a blackened tip that glows RED, I think that is wonderful, gives you a REAL experiance.
Others glow white , blue, I see that Halo kind of brags on the fact that theirs glows Blue?

Red is perfect if it has to glow, the white was hard on the eyes and not adding to the exp.
Blue is just confusing.

I see Halo kind of brags on their blue tip....Why I have no idea.

The main problem, as you've seen, is the short battery life of the cigalikes. My first e-cig was the JoyeTech eRoll, *because* it's nearly identical to the size and shape of a regular-length cigarette, and it did get me to the point of quitting the smokes. But I grew very tired of the constant round of recharging that its small size necessitates. You have two of them, and you swap them in and out of the PCC all day long, constantly. It's a huge pain. Also the small tank, .4ml, requires regular refills into such a tiny hole that these eyes can barely see it at all.

I totally sympathize and empathize with your gripes about the taste; I had a hard time finding a taste I liked, because i wanted it to taste like the Virginia Slims I smoked, and everyone told me I would not find that. But you know what? I found something that, at very first vape, tasted so close to the taste of those Virginia Slims I was absolutely amazed. I did it find it a sweeter taste than the cigarettes, of course, just BECAUSE it doesn't have that bitter burnt taste, but the more I vaped it, the better I liked it, and the less I liked the cigarettes, which started tasting like burnt leaves; gee I wonder why it would taste like that.

It helps if you know what sort of flavor you're really looking for. What kind of cigarettes did you like?

My thoughts exactly.

I like my G6 w/ the blue light as the last thing I want is for someone to see a red light and think I'm smoking an analog.

Just my opinion. Your mileage my vary.

A big howdy to all ! thanks for your input and the comedy relief of Saintscruiser, Aye god sent you to me for he knew I was a stressin.

I am a rot gut whiskey smoker as the price went up I smoked the cheapest, harshest, most foul of cigs.
Perhaps if I added a lil battery acid and ground glass to my juice I might have it.

As I said the red tip helps the illusion, and as a newbie to the whole quitting smoking the more I can fool myself the better.

As for the blue tip keeping people from thinking I am smoking, well it may be my mean/ wicked sense of humor, but I'd love to have nosey jerk come running up to yell, as i then make a complete azz out of him/ her/it. I hate nazis of any variety.

The OMFG is my first juice as well, with some halo..... something can't remember what I ordered coming.
Test driving some senility, going pretty good.
The nice thing about senility is you forget you have it.

Give me the scoop what you tried that you think is close to rot gut tobacco, and what you think is a good tapering off the nic all day smoke.
I got the OMFG in it's highest level and wish now I had got it a lil weaker, I need the activity that smoking is, and the stuff it so strong I am unable to have at it like normal.

Now Saintscruiser, have you sought forgiveness for your sin of assumption?

I have finished yelling at the telephone poles, I feel better. I respect the poles they are upright and stoic in the face of verbal abuse.
