The new kid on the block

First post as a new member from Richmond, Va. Just expierenced my first VaporCon this year as I have been vaping now for almost 7 months come the 29th of November. I started vaping in attempt in the quitting of cigarettes and as it has helped, I have also found a new hobby which is killing my pockets, lol. But I'm loving every minute while I feel so much better and healthier being smoke free. As a farely new vaper, I found interest in cartos, atomizer rba's, and mech mods. Joining the ECF was to gain more knowledge from advance vapers of this great community, keeping an ear out for new mech devices and purchases. Well, I'm not going to bore you all with my noobie talk, lol but I'm glad to be apart of a community that welcomes a person like myself with open arms.

I dont understand you guys. :) When I pay more than 50 bucks a month I consider myself how exravagant I had been. Al my spendings were pretty lower than what I paid for cigarettes (Which I was a RIY and raw tobacco at that one tenth of packed cigarettes.) Whetever you do one day it will be over and you wil stay under your monthly cigarette payments. even if you buy a provari every year it still comes 20 bucks a month. Dont tell me there is a better mod than provari.
I have a set of 2 red kiwi + CE4V3 an evic 2 batteries a vivi nova (not vision) 4mt silica 10 mt wire a couple of bottles of juices. Even the lousy juices became cappucino once I added cappucino flavor in them and left them steep.
My net extravagancy wil be buying a provari mini and perhaps a few clearos
Let me tell you a cheat
I bought Vegetable glycerin and I always buy 24mg/ml liquids. I dilute them with VG it comes cheaper and I can see how I decrease nic level myself.

Welcome to the community. I'm also a relative noob and have been vaping (and tobacco free) for 63 days (but who's counting?). My wallet is a bit lighter, but haven't been spending as much as I was on stinkies. I lurked here a while before I entered the vaping world and the advice, along with help from a vaping friend, helped my pick my first kit. And while I'm still using the same kit, I've added some doubles and triples of things like batteries, clearos and coils. Still experimenting with juice, but seem to have settled with a menthol, US Tobacco flavor mix or peppermint with US Tobacco flavor.

I hope your experience here is as worthwhile as mine has been.

Been vaping for 6 days. I have so many things I want to buy/try. I tend to dive head first into stuff, makes the wife crazy. I need to find a shop that will let me try before I buy so I don't end up buying 6 mods that I don't like.

I am also interested in trying different PV/VG ratio e-juices. I started vaping to quit dipping. I have been a nic addict for 30+ years and smoked for much of that time. The e-juice I have now is 70/30 VG/PG and it leaves me a little congested in the morning.

Anyway I am rambling now. I look forward to learning from and getting to know yous guys/gals as we take this journey to be tobacco free.
